A rotation of a drive input member driven by the drive power source is transmitted to a shift input member via the fluid coupling and a rotation of the shift input member is shifted by the transmission apparatus and then transmitted to an output member. When a state shift command for shifting from a non-transmission state to a transmission state is input into a control apparatus in a state in which the drive power source does not generate a driving force, the control apparatus performs a shift input rotation operation before engaging a frictional engagement element and shifting to the transmission state by causing the drive power source to generate the driving force and rotating the shift input member via the fluid coupling while maintaining the non-transmission state.

The target slip speed is a difference between the rotational speeds of the power source and the input shaft, and the non-shifting-time value is set when no shifting is performed.

    摘要: A control system for an automatic transmission is provided with a manual shift mode capable of performing a shift command made by manual operation. While in the manual shift mode and during the operation of a downshift command generated by a shift lever, a manual shift control unit calculates a degree of power required by a driver that, for example, takes into consideration an operation intent of the driver and a road condition. A post-downshift shift speed is then determined in accordance with the degree of required power and downshifting performed. By performing only one downshift command through manual operation, downshifting in accordance with the degree of power required by the driver is performed. Downshifting to a shift speed desired by the driver can thus be promptly performed, without the operation becoming a burden.

When the releasing-side hydraulic pressure PB becomes a minute torque capacity [fPB(0)+PKEEP+PLS2T], a hold control, which has a very low gradient δPB, is started so that the pressure is substantially held, and, after a rotation change is started, the pressure sweeps down with a low gradient δPE2 until release.
