摘要: A method, computer program product, and system for de-centralized stream processing is provided. The method may include providing a plurality of processing nodes each of said processing nodes configured to transmit and receive a stream of data. The method may further include adding one or more new processing nodes to the computing system. The method may also include determining a source node based upon, at least in part, an activation level being above or below a particular threshold. The method may additionally include, for each of the one or more added processing nodes, automatically determining an appropriate role, based upon, at least in part, a neighboring processing node.

摘要: A method, computer program product, and system for de-centralized stream processing is provided. The method may include providing a plurality of processing nodes each of said processing nodes configured to transmit and receive a stream of data. The method may also include providing a genome including a hierarchical set of tasks that represent a hierarchical functional decomposition of one or more problem scenarios. The method may further include identifying, at each of the processing nodes, one or more tasks for a first genome level. The method may additionally include differentiating, at one or more of the plurality of processing nodes, into one or more tasks, based upon, at least in part, the first genome level. The method may further include grouping a plurality of the processing nodes together to achieve a power level. The method may also include activating a second genome level once the power level has been reached. The method may further include repeating until one or more of the nodes differentiates into a further genome level.

摘要: A system and method for electronic wallet conversion allows conversion of a basic electronic wallet to a more flexible wallet account, providing additional services and requiring additional authentication. The basic accountholder eventually requires the additional services provided by the more flexible wallet, typically editing rights and making purchases at sites requiring authentication beyond the basic level. To convert the account, the account holder is presented with a one-time challenge and response mechanism that requires the accountholder to summon information that only the account holder would know. If a successful match is made, the account is converted to the more flexible account for all time. The accountholder replaces the one-time challenge and response with a second-level password that grants the accountholder ongoing access to more sensitive wallet features, such as the ability to purchase at sites requiring a second-level password, and editing rights to the information stored in the wallet.

摘要: A stent crimping assembly is provided for crimping a stent from a first diameter to a reduced second diameter. The crimping assembly includes a plurality of movable wedges disposed about a rotational axis to form a wedge assembly. Each wedge includes a respective first side and a second side converging to form a tip portion. The tip portions are arranged to collectively form an iris about the rotational axis thereof. The iris defining a crimp aperture about which the movable wedges are disposed. Each wedge is associated with a stationary structure and an rotational actuation unit such that during rotation of the actuation unit about the rotational axis, the iris is caused to rotate about the rotational axis, relative the stationary structure, for inward movement of the wedges to decrease the size of the aperture and outward movement of the wedges to increase the size of the aperture.
