摘要： An imaging and recording apparatus for electrically recording an optical image of a subject as an image information signal which facilitates memory access from an external device and prevents image information from being changed. Upon manipulation of a recording trigger switch, an image outputted from a camera signal processing circuit at that time is written into a semiconductor memory, then subjected to data compression in a data compression circuit, and stored in a semiconductor memory. It is now assumed that an external device not illustrated is connected to a connector and this external device orders taking in the image of the semiconductor memory. If at this time the semiconductor memory is writing an image, a state detection circuit detects the fact and inhibits the external device from taking in the image. Furthermore, while the external device is taking in the image of the semiconductor memory, the state detection circuit detects this fact. Even if the recording trigger switch is manipulated, an AND gate turns off in response to an output of the state detection circuit and inhibits image writing into the semiconductor memory.

摘要： A VTR capable of recording information signals, such as a time code, and more particularly providing a configuration for after-recording the information signals for controlling the operation of the VTR, which comprises an operation panel; a mode determination block for determining a mode to be next switched; an information signal processing block for recording and reproducing the information signals; and a recording period setting circuit for determining a recording period of the information signals. A mode signal inputted through the operation panel is recorded on a predetermined position on a magnetic tape. When such a magnetic tape is reproduced, the VTR is forcibly set in a mode determined by the mode signal at the time of detecting the mode signal. For example, if a mode signal indicative of a fast-forward mode and another mode signal indicative of a normal reproduction mode have been recorded prior to and at the back of a recorded portion which need not be reproduced, the undesired recorded portion can be automatically fast-forwarded when this tape is normally reproduced.

摘要： An audio signal transmission system having a noise reduction circuit, which includes a transmission medium such as a magnetic tape to be used to transmit a digital signal converted from an input audio signal and thereafter to output the audio signal reproduced from the digital signal, a digital signal transmitter having a pulse-code modulator and demodulator (MODEM). The noise reduction circuit includes a compressor for compressing the dynamic range of the input audio signal according to the detection level obtained by detecting at least the high-frequency components thereof in order to supply the output from the compression to the digital signal transmitter and an expander for expanding the dynamic range of the demodulated signal from the transmitter according to the detection level of at least the high-frequency components thereof. The transmission system has a low-pass fitler which limits the frequency band of the input signal to be supplied to the dynamic-range compressor to at most half the sampling frequency of the MODEM and thus permits the noise reduction circuit to compress and expand signals supplied thereto in the same frequency band without causing any erroneous operation.
