摘要: A total-transmission-power measurement section 113 measures a total-transmission-power-value output from a transmitting RF circuit 112, and outputs the measured value to a total-transmission-power comparison section 152. A reference-total-transmission-power setting section 151 outputs a reference total-transmission-power-value, which is a target of the total-transmission-power-value of a base station, to the total-transmission-power comparison section 152. The total-transmission-power comparison section 152 outputs instructions to reduce allowable transmission-power-values to allowable-transmission-power setting sections 153 of users 1–n, when a value obtained by subtracting of the reference total-transmission-power-value, which has been input from the reference-total-transmission-power setting section 151, from the total-transmission-power-value input from the total-transmission-power measurement section 113 exceeds a predetermined value. The allowable-transmission-power setting sections 153 decide appropriate allowable transmission-power-values, based on the instructions input from the total-transmission-power comparison section 152, and output the decided value to individual-transmission-power comparison sections 106.

摘要: As an apparatus itself moves, its access section 101 gets access to router AR2 using a temporarily assigned global address when making a roaming connection to a different network from a network to which the apparatus belongs currently. Message generating section 102 generates a Binding Update message, which contains a global address which is uniquely assigned to network element apparatus 100, the above temporarily assigned global address, and a global address of the router AR1, to transmit the generated message via the access section 101 to router AR2, which is a serving router after move. This makes it possible to deliver packets among moving networks with the minimum delay to an intended recipient.

摘要: Priority determining section 107 determines priority of each communication terminal apparatus based on the information indicating the channel quality of the downlink. Transmission destination determining section 108 estimates the direction in which each communication terminal apparatus exists from the information indicating the direction of arrival of the signal and determines the communication terminal apparatuses to which downlink high-speed packet transmission is performed based on the direction in which each communication terminal apparatus exists and priority. AAA transmission control section 154 calculates a transmission weight based on the direction of arrival of the signal sent from the communication terminal apparatus determined by transmission destination determining section 108. Then, AAA transmission control section 154 multiplies the signals sent from antenna elements 101 to 103 by transmission weights. When adaptive array is used, this makes it possible to carry out effective downlink high-speed packet transmission.

摘要: An access control method for a plurality of data communications networks is disclosed that enables a plurality of local nodes (101) to communicate with each other even if the connection between an intermediate node (103) and a global server (105) is momentarily lost. In this method, when the connection to the global server (105) breaks down, the intermediate node (103) temporarily grants access to the local nodes (101) instead of the global server (105) in accordance with a predetermined policy, thus allowing operation of local networks to function normally until connection to the global network (104) is resumed.

摘要: An allocation section 101 in a base station apparatus of the present invention sets the transmission rate of a transmit signal for a communication terminal apparatus based on a DRC signal transmitted from that communication terminal apparatus. A power margin information detector 117 detects power margin information from a demodulated signal generated by a demodulator 115, and, using that power margin information, a power setting section 118 makes a setting so as to give the minimum transmission power value at which received signal characteristics in each communication terminal apparatus meet the desired quality. Using the set transmission power value, the base station apparatus transmits a transmit signal of the set transmission rate to a communication terminal apparatus. By this means it is possible to suppress interference to a communication terminal apparatus that performs adaptive modulation communication with another base station apparatus and a communication terminal apparatus that performs adaptive modulation communication with the local base station apparatus at the same time.

摘要: The base station apparatus compresses one-frame information of a broadcast channel to blocks of ½ of one frame or less and repeatedly sends this block in a one-frame time. The mobile station apparatus decodes the received signal in block units or added block units to carry out error detection. The mobile station apparatus receives and adds up the next block in the case that the error rate exceeds a threshold. The mobile station apparatus repeats this until the error rate falls below the threshold. When the error rate falls below the threshold, the mobile station apparatus stops reception of broadcast channel signals and uses the rest of time until a one-frame time elapses to monitor carrier information of a different mobile communication system for handover.

摘要: In radio FDD communication, reception quality is measured at a communication terminal, the measurement result is reported to a base station, and the base station changes a transmission antenna based on the reported result on the reception quality. Thereby, in the FDD system, the transmission antenna can be determined based on a received signal.
