    Abstract: At least one actuating element emits a signal in response to blowing and/or suction airflow from a person and is connected to a mouthpiece, and is coupled by way of an evaluation circuit to the appliance to be controlled. In order to maximize the total number of possible combinations of control signal and/or control data, two position transmitters (X-pos, Y-pos) are coupled to further inputs of the evaluation circuit, which incorporates at least one microprocessor, and, when the mouthpiece is used, each transmitter emits a coordinate signal characteristic of the position of the mouthpiece in a coordinate system. The microprocessor is adapted to process the signals from the actuating element, which is in the form of an impact pressure transducer and also the coordinate signals from the position transmitters (X-pos, Y-pos) to produce control data for the appliance.

    Abstract: A drilling device with an arrangement for the detachable connection of a drill, especially a rock drill, percussion drill, hammer drill, and the like, to a receiving device, e.g. a drive head, which has a longitudinal bore for receiving the shank of the drill, and also has a driving part which is drivingly connectable to a drilling machine and is coaxial with the longitudinal bore. The drilling device furthermore comprises a drive transmitting member movable in the driving part transverse in the longitudinal bore of the receiving device. The drive transmitting or follower member is arranged to engage a bottom face of a recess in the shank of the drill. This recess has a segment-shaped cross section and has a bottom extending continuously over the entire corresponding width of the drill shank.     Abstract: This disclosure teaches a method and apparatus for radio link failure recovery by a User Equipment (UE). The example UE includes one or more controllers that are configured to store cell access information for a target cell that is the target for an impending handover from a serving cell, and for a backup cell that is selected by the UE from among a set of neighboring cells that includes the target cell. Advantageously, in case the handover to the target cell fails, the one or more controllers are configured to retrieve the cell access information stored for the backup cell and to use that information for re-establishing connection in the backup cell. The UE selects the backup cell, for example, as the neighboring cell other than the target cell having the strongest signal conditions with respect to the UE.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a cellular communication and addresses the problem of an LTE UE measuring downlink quality when the load in cell varies instantaneously and over a wide frequency spectrum. The UE lacks capacity to measure over frequency bandwidth and time needed to make a cell load measure with sufficient reliability for making a inter-cell handover or an inter RAT handover. The solution is the DL power transmitted in a narrow band of the carrier frequency is adjusted to reflect the total cell load. The total cell load is measured and averaged over time and made proportional to the frequency carrier bandwidth. The power may be controlled for specific time slots in the narrow frequency band for the terminal to measure on. This is advantageous because then the waste power needed for enabling the UE measured can be reduced and the extra interference caused by the invention be reduced.
