摘要: Kickback control methods for power tools. One power tool includes a movement sensor configured to measure an angular velocity of the housing of the power tool about the rotational axis. The power tool includes an electronic processor coupled to the switching network and the movement sensor and configured to implement kickback control of the power tool. To implement the kickback control, the electronic processor is configured to control the switching network to drive the brushless DC motor, receive measurements of the angular velocity of the housing of the power tool from the movement sensor, determine that a plurality of the measurements of the angular velocity of the housing of the power tool exceed a rotation speed threshold, and control the switching network to cease driving of the brushless DC motor in response to determining that the plurality of the measurements of the angular velocity exceed the rotation speed threshold.

The controller is configured to drive the motor according to a speed command, receive the speed signals from the speed sensor, determine whether the motor speed is less than or equal to a speed threshold, and terminate, in response to the motor speed being less than or equal to the speed threshold, operation of the motor.

摘要: A percussion tool comprises a housing, an electric motor positioned within the housing, a percussion mechanism driven by the electric motor and including a striker supported for reciprocation in the housing, a battery pack removably coupled to the housing for providing power to the electric motor when coupled to the housing, and an electronic controller including an electronic processor and a memory. The electronic controller is coupled to the electric motor and configured to activate the motor and determine whether the percussion tool is in a loaded condition. In response to determining that the percussion tool is in the loaded condition, the electronic controller is configured to operate the motor in accordance with a predetermined profile and in response to determining that the percussion tool is in a no load condition, the electronic controller is configured to operate the motor at a no-load speed.

The second load detector detects, based on information indicating a behavior of the main body, a load imposed from the work piece to the tool bit. The motor controller sets an upper limit of rotational speed of the motor to a predetermined no-load rotational speed in response to no-load on the tool bit being detected by both the first load detector and the second load detector.

摘要: An impact tool capable of improving durability of tool components and capable of reducing noise and vibration is provided. The impact tool includes a housing, a motor, a motion converting portion, an output portion, a power supply portion, a load detecting portion, and a control portion. The motor is disposed in the housing. The motion converting portion is configured to convert a rotating motion of the motor into a reciprocating motion. The output portion is configured to output the reciprocating motion of the motion converting portion as an impact force. The power supply portion is configured to supply a driving power to the motor. The load detecting portion is configured to detect a load imposed on the motor. The control portion is configured to control the power supply portion to increase the driving power supplied to the motor during a prescribed period when the load detected by the load detecting portion is larger than a prescribed value.

摘要: A hammering tool includes, within its tool main body, a piston which reciprocates by using a motor as its drive force, a hammering member which carries out its hammering operation in linking with the reciprocating motion of the piston, and an intermediate member which transmits a hammering force of the hammering member to a top end tool mounted on the top end of the tool main body. The tool main body further includes a measuring device which measures a hammering state of the hammering member and a control device which controls the number of rotations of the motor. The control device, according to measurement results of the measuring device, determines the limit number of times of hammering where the hammering member becomes unable to follow the reciprocating motion of the piston, and thus controls the number of rotations of the motor.

摘要: An improved impact power tool for carving and engraving an article comprises an air delivery system operable to communicate with a pressurized air source; a drive assembly operable to receive air from the pressurized air source via the air delivery system; a hand held device in driven communication with the drive assembly; and a housing for storage of the air delivery system and drive assembly. The tool includes an improved valve design, a throttle bias valve, and an air storage tank housed within the housing, and an improved housing construction. The improved valve design and air storage tank enable greater stroke speeds of a work tool over a wider power range while also improving the crispness and speed of the impact reaction time over the entire range. The throttle bias valve is in communication with an additional exhaust path, such that the bias valve allows improved control of the hand held device and improved operation over a wider range of air pressures.
