A communication circuit facilitating communication between a first equipment and a second equipment including a conversion circuit, an input port, an output port, and a communication port is disclosed. The conversion circuit converts an input signal to a first intermediate signal, and converts a second intermediate signal to an output signal. The input port inputs the input signal to the first conversion circuit. The output port outputs the output signal to the control unit. The communication port inputs the second intermediate signal to the conversion circuit, and outputs the first intermediate signal to the second equipment. A voltage of the first intermediate signal is determined based on a voltage of a power source if the first intermediate signal is logic high, and a voltage of the second intermediate signal is determined based on the voltage of the power source if the second intermediate signal is logic high.

Disclosed is a system and method of encasing the drive components of an electric powered bicycle in a unified storage device compressed and structurally integrated into the triangle space between the top tube, down tube and seat tube of a typical bicycle frame. This invention details a unique component case that provides the storage and security of electric bicycle drive components including the electric power source (the battery cell pack), and electric motor controller including circuit board and housing, along with associated wires, fuses, switches, instruments and plugs. This invention also details a unique braking system and details a method of mounting stationary foot pegs in the bottom bracket of a typical frame and replacing the standard pedals and crank set.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a universal frame for electric bikes and human powered bicycles, the frame body of the universal frame is consisted of a top tube, a down tube, a seat tube, two seat stays and two chain stays, wherein a holder is welded on the junction of the down tube, the seat tube and the chain stays, the holder is used to fasten on a bottom bracket shell with different specifications according to usage requirements. By the composition of the above elements, the present invention may be provided to assemble the main-shaft-chain wheel set of electric bikes or human powered bicycles, to thereby simplify the process, reduce the amount of inventories and achieve the convenience of universal interchangeability.

Disclosed herein are an electric bicycle and a control method thereof. The control method of the electric bicycle in which a motor is rotated using electric energy stored in a battery to drive the electric bicycle, includes receiving an acceleration instruction value to accelerate the electric bicycle, input by a driver, during traveling, calculating a reference value according to a traveling velocity of the electric bicycle, and increasing time taken for a rotating velocity of the motor to reach a target velocity, if the received acceleration instruction value is more than the calculated reference value.

To provide a battery pack that is less likely to be affected by vibrations, shocks and the like and has a stable characteristic, and an electric bicycle that uses the battery pack.A battery pack includes: battery connecting structures in which a plurality of flat batteries is placed; cushioning members that are disposed in two directions, which cross each other at right angles, of outer surfaces of the battery connecting structures; and a housing section that houses the battery connecting structures in such a way that clearance between outer surfaces of the cushioning members of one direction is positive, and that clearance between outer surfaces of the cushioning members of the other direction is negative.

A wheel assembly having a motor attached to a hub within the wheel assembly such that the motor powers the wheel assembly to rotate about an axle once the motor receives a predetermined amount of power. A battery system is configured to deliver power to said motor, the battery system is arranged to rotate with the wheel assembly. A sensor system within the wheel assembly provides data related to velocity and angle of orientation of the assembly. A control system within the wheel assembly receives data related to velocity and angle of orientation of the wheel assembly from the sensor system, with the control system having at least one output to from the battery system indicative of an amount of power that is delivered to the motor.

The vehicle includes, inter alia, a frame connected to at least one fork capable of supporting a wheel having a first driven sprocket assembly and a second driven sprocket assembly, a rechargeable electrical power supply attached to the frame, a motor controller attached to the frame, an electric motor supported by the frame and attached to a first driving sprocket which is coupled to the first driven sprocket assembly and a manual pedal assembly supported by the frame and comprising a pedal crank shaft with two pedals and a second driving sprocket which is coupled to the second driven sprocket assembly.
