AN ANTISTATIC TEXTILE, E.G. CARPET, IS DISCLOSED WHICH COMPRISES A FABRIC LAYER HAVING A SURFACE WHICH IS SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE UNDESIRED ACCUMULATION OF STATIC CHARGE BONDED TO AN ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTING STATIC DISSIPATING METAL FOIL BY MEANS OF A WEB OF THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL WHICH HAS BEEN FUSED TO THE FABRIC LAYER. THE WEB PROVIDES DIRECT ELECTRICAL CONTACT WITH THE SURFACE YARNS OF THE FABRIC LAYER.

A heatable fabric includes a heatable cloth, an outer cloth and a transmission line. The heatable cloth is covered with the outer cloth. The transmission line is connected to the heatable cloth. The outer cloth has an outlet for allowing the transmission line to pass from the interior of the outer cloth to the exterior of the outer cloth. The heatable cloth includes at least one signaling yarn. The at least one signaling yarn is connected to the transmission line. The at least one signaling yarn is braided with other yarns to form the heatable cloth. The heatable fabric achieves a heating/warming effect, because electric energy is converted into heat energy while the at least one signaling yarn is transmitting signals/electricity.
摘要:
Lightweight fabrics with a balance of high thermal properties, especially arc resistance and flash fire resistance, on the one hand, and durability and comfort properties, on the other hand, are disclosed. Articles, such as garments and linen, made from the lightweight fabrics are also disclosed. Spun yarns made with an intimate blend of fibers including flame resistant fiber, fire-resistant hydrophilic fibers, and a low level of anti-static fibers are described. The lightweight fabrics are particularly useful in garments for utility workers, industrial workers, military personnel, and firefighters.

The present invention provides a flame-retardant yarn/fabric/clothing, containing the following three types of fibers in percentage by weight percent based on their total weight: modacrylic: 20% to 80%; cellulose: 10% to 50%; and polyimide: 1% to 50%. A vertical burning test is carried out in accordance with GB/T 5455-2014 to test the flame retardance of the flame-retardant yarn, fabric or clothing in the present invention, and the measured char length is lower than 150 mm, 100 or 50 mm. The char length is reduced to different extents, and thus different flame retardance requirements are met.

A method, apparatus and system is provided for both (1) decreasing electrostatic discharges to reduce the potential for incendiary discharges caused by electrostatic charges in flexible containers such as flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBCs) and (2) decreasing the induction on isolated conductors nearby the container to reduce the potential for incendiary discharges from the isolated conductors.

The present invention relates to a thermally-resistant woven fabric and/or multiple ply fabric sheet for use as single or outer layer of protective garments, of the type comprising an inside fabric layer and an outside fabric layer joined together by an array of connecting lines. The woven fabric and/or multiple ply fabric sheet comprise yarns, wherein said yarn comprises i) meta-aramid ii) from about 5 to 10 weight % of polyamide and iii) at least 2 weight % of antistatic fibers, the weight % being based on the total weight of the yarn.

A flame, heat and electric arc protective yarn that can be used for knitting and weaving a single layer fabric. Both knitted and woven fabrics are for use as a single layer flame, heat and electric arc protective fabric garment or as an outer layer of a flame, heat and electric arc protective multiple layer garment or accessory for a wearer.

This invention relates to ungrounded type flexible fabric container with a reduced energy of electrostatic discharge suitable for use in a combustible environment. A woven fabric is configured to form a flexible fabric container having sidewalls, a top feature and a bottom feature. The woven fabric flexible bulk container is made from a static dissipating fabric comprising fabric woven of non-conductive tapes, to which a plurality of bicomponent conductive staple fibers are added. The bicomponent conductive staple fibers have one or more longitudinal stripes of a carbon loaded conductive constituent on an outer surface of a non-conductive constituent. Preferably the staple fibers are woven into or coated onto the fabric at a spacing of from 3 mm to 100 mm.
摘要:
Electrostatic dissipating fabrics incorporating spun yarns which include conductive staple fiber constituents incorporated within the spun yarns. The fabrics may be of either a woven or knit construction. The conductive fiber constituents are dispersed at an effective concentration to establish a network of charge carrying junctions within and between the individual yarns. The large number of junctions between the yarns facilitates the dissipation of static electricity between regions of a garment formed by the yarns. In particular, the fabric retains a high degree of conductivity across seams within the garment even after multiple washings.
