Abstract:
The self-closing and opening device (1) particularly of a movable furniture part (103) comprises a fixed guide (8) having a supporting body (2) in which a first slider (3) can slide reversibly along a sliding axis (100) in opposition to and through the action of first elastic means (5), the first slider (3) being engageable with first driving means (106) present on a driving element (6) which slides reversibly in the direction of the sliding axis (100), the supporting body (2) comprising first movement means (4) for movement of the first slider (3) suitable to engage with guide means (12, 13) of the first slider (3), so as to release it from the driving means (106), also provided with a mechanical or elastically yielding stop (9, 120) against which the first slider (3) rests directly or indirectly before it engages with the guide means (12,13) in the first movement means (4) the driving element (6) being then pushed by an ejector (20) generating an initial opening movement of said movable furniture part (103).
Abstract:
An opening device (10) for furniture parts which are movable relative to one another, such as door wings (12), flaps and the like coupled pivotably to a furniture body, with an elongate ejector ram (30) which is mounted in a longitudinally displaceable manner in a housing (28) which can be fastened to one of the furniture parts which are movable relative to one another. The ejector ram is pretensioned at its one end by means of a spring (32) into a position in which it protrudes out of the housing (28) in the direction of the other furniture part in each case and can be pushed back into the interior of the housing counter to the pretensioning. The device has a locking device which locks the ejector ram (30) in the position in which it is retracted in the housing (28), and can be unlocked by manipulation by means of a user. A tensioning device is provided in the housing (28), the tensioning device forcibly displacing the ejector ram (30), when the movable furniture part (12) is completely opened, into the locking position in which said ram is retracted into the housing (28), said tensioning device converting the opening movement of the movable furniture part (12) in the interior of the housing via a tensioning member (33), which acts at its one end which is guided out of the housing (28) on the movable furniture part, into a movement pulling the ejector ram (30) back into the retracted position.
Abstract:
The invention is a sliding door assembly operable move a vehicle door between an open and a closed position. The assembly includes a motor, reversibly operable to move the door towards one of the open and the closed position. A handle is mounted to the door and a handle sensor is provided, operable to detect the grasping of the handle. When the handle is grasped, a controller activates the motor to move the door when the handle sensor is triggered. Moving the door using the handle by at least a predetermined distance causes the controller to deactivate the motor, allowing manual movement of the door.
Abstract:
A door opening and closing device having a rotational mechanism configured to switch a door between a closed position and an open position relative to a base member. The rotational mechanism has a supporting arm integral with the door; a sector gear portion provided on the arm; a rotating gear disposed on the arm at essentially a center of the arc of the sector gear; a first rack portion on the base member and configured to engage the sector gear; and a second rack portion on the base member. The second rack is essentially parallel to the first rack portion and separated by predetermined distance therefrom, the second rack being configured to engage the rotating gear.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a linear actuator in whose housing an electric motor is fastened for the driving of a threaded spindle which receives a spindle nut which converts the rotary movement of the threaded spindle into a translatory movement and with which the actuation rod extending out of the housing is coupled. The threaded spindle has an internal thread circumscribing a hollow space of the threaded spindle, whereas the spindle nut has an external thread in engagement with the internal thread of the threaded spindle so that the actuation bar can be moved in or out of the hollow space of the threaded spindle in the manner of a telescope depending on the direction of rotation of the threaded spindle.
Abstract:
An industrial sliding door has one or more panel assemblies, each panel assembly having a track panel secured to a header and a swinging panel hinged at the inner edge of the track panel to pivot in either direction about a vertical axis if the swinging panel is impacted by a vehicle such as a fork lift. Both panels can also pivot in at least one direction about a horizontal axis. A rail mounted stationary relative to the doorway at the lower edge of the door holds the lower edge of the door in proximity to the doorway and is disengagable if the door is hit from the opposite side, to permit the door panel assembly to swing about the horizontal axis away from the doorway. The swinging panel is held by a detent in the plane of the track panel in a normal position.
Abstract:
A pivot-action damper which for example dampens the impact effect of the closing movement of doors, furniture doors or flaps displays excellent braking force or damping force, even over small angular regions as a result of an outer cylindrical body which encompasses an inner body which is pivotable in relation to said outer cylindrical body. Between the two bodies there are two chambers, separated from each other by a gap or a throttle position, with said chambers containing a liquid. This liquid is displaced from one chamber to the other as a result of the rotation of the two bodies in relation to each other.
Abstract:
A drive device for moving a flap of a vehicle includes a first fastening element which can be connected to one of a moveable component and a fixed component, and a housing tube which is axially movable relative to the first fastening element. The housing tube has an end opposite the first fastening element which carries a second fastening element which can be connected to the other of the moveable component and the fixed component. A spindle drive includes a threaded spindle having end mounted for rotation in the housing tube and fixed against axial movement with respect to the housing tube, and a spindle nut arranged on the threaded spindle. The spindle nut is connected to the first fastening element and secured against rotation with respect to the housing tube, and a rotary drive is arranged to drive the spindle in rotation.
Abstract:
An operation mechanism attaches a movable member to a main body to be rotatable between a first position and a second position. The movable member is held in the first position by a locking device. The operation mechanism includes a base attached to the main body, a contact portion attached to the movable member, and a coil spring having one end fixed to the base, and the other end attached to the contact portion for urging the movable member in the first position toward the second position. A transfer track for the contact portion is formed at the base. By the transfer track, after the movable member in the first position is moved to a predetermined position by a force accumulated on the spring, when the movable member is pushed to the second position, the spring stores a force from the predetermined position to the second position.
Abstract:
A brake assembly for locking a vertical or horizontal slidable sash window or door within a track of a frame is disclosed. The track has an elongated base and a pair of spaced apart, opposed sidewalls extending perpendicular from the base. Each sidewall has an inner shoulder spaced from and parallel to the base. The assembly has a slider body having a central opening extending from a front face of the body to a rear face of the body. The slider body has a side opening in each side of the slider body and being in communication with the central opening. A pair of brake members are provided wherein one brake member is slidably positioned within a respective one of the side openings. A cam has a rear face and a front face, and is adapted to receive a pivot member mounted on either the sash window or door. The cam is positioned in the central opening and is adapted to be rotatable within the opening by the pivot member. The cam, slider body and brake members include cooperative structure for converting rotary motion of the cam into radial movement of the brake members through the side openings and axial movement of the cam and slider body to lock the brake assembly within the track.
