摘要: A pilot indicator is provided for an aircraft provided with at least one gas turbine engine. The indicator includes a set of sensors delivering information relating to different monitoring parameters of the engine, namely: the speed of rotation Ng of the gas generator, the temperature T4 of the gas at the inlet of the free turbine, and the torque Cm. The indicator is also provided with a processor for processing information from the sensors, and a display provided with a display screen. In addition, the processor determines an estimated value of a limiting parameter, where the limiting parameter is that one of the monitoring parameters that is closest to its limit.

摘要: A photoelectric sensor 11 has a level display unit (28). The level display unit (28) is constituted by arranging a plurality of 7-segment indicators (33). The 7-segment indicators (33) are partially constituted of red LED segments (33b) and partially constituted of red/green two-color LED segments (33a). For a digital display, all of the segments are illuminated in red to display numerals. For a graph display, the red/green two-color LED segments are illuminated in green to present a bar graph.

摘要: An optical system for magnifying a display panel includes a magnifying lens disposed in front of a display panel. The magnifying lens is constructed with two lenses respectively having convex surfaces opposite each other. At least one of the two convex surfaces is aspherical. A transverse aberration of the magnifying lens is less than the diameter of the pupil of an eye at a point where the eye is positioned. The lens for the optical system is a Fresnel lens whose vortex center is located on its edge. An apparatus for magnifying display panels according to the invention includes an instrument to be viewed distantly and instruments to be viewed not distantly. The instrument to be viewed distantly is disposed distant from the Fresnel lens under a center portion of the Fresnel lens, whereas the instruments to be viewed not distantly are disposed close to the Fresnel lens under an edge portion of the Fresnel lens. An apparatus for magnifying display panels according to the invention includes a display panel illuminating light source disposed inside a housing of the instrument and scale markings provided inside the edge of the opening of the housing.

摘要: Methods, together with apparatus for implementing such methods, for providing display screens and operator interfaces for process control and measurements, comprising the steps of (a) graphically defining and generating Display Libraries that can be used by a stand alone process control and/or process measurement instrument containing an interpretation engine (a software task designed to interpret Display Definitions) to actually render displays and control their appearance and behavior during real time process operations; and (b) interpreting the contents of the aforesaid Display Definitions (using said interpretation engine) during the normal operation of a stand alone instrument, thereby rendering displays having the defined appearances and behaviors. By using the invention, display screens and operator interface controls can be created, provided to and executed on a wide range of user process control and measurement instruments which run on platforms that are otherwise incapable of supporting a display editor.

摘要: A pointer for use with an analog meter movement providing a luminous indication of the meter position. The present invention provides an analog meter movement indicator which selectively directs a laser light or other collimated beam across the contoured face or dial or an analog meter, wherein the selective movement of the light beam and the resulting luminous image is provided by a selective movement of an optical deflector mounted on the shaft of the meter movement. The optical deflector is optically energized by an externally mounted, stationary light source. As the meter movement shaft is rotated, the luminous beam image moves over the dial face according to the signal applied to the meter movement. The resulting instrument provides a dramatic indication of analog meter signal presentation.

摘要: An electronic position monitor (10) and readout device (72, 90) for trim tabs on boats in which the monitor and readout device are connected to the trim tab controls. The device is electronic and position display is based on the time required for trim tab movement. Signals from the trim tab controls produce signals from timers (62, 63) which in turn are directed to enabling circuits (58, 60). If the enabling circuits pass the timer signals, they are counted in counter circuits (44, 46) and thence directed to a decoder (64) and finally to the display panel (72-90). The display panel is arranged to show the precise angular position of the trim tabs to the boat operator.

摘要: A periodically energized luminous element mounted on a body undergoing cyclic movement at a high speed producing periodic illumination at a frequency exceeding the fusion frequency of the human eye. The interval duration of said periodic illumination results in perception thereof as a permanent visual display disposed at a fixed location along the travel path of the body corresponding to a physical value to be represented.
