A minimum dimension of the sensor element and the length and height of the supporting feet are dimensioned, relative to the clearance, such that neither the sensor element nor one of the supporting feet can enter the clearance of an adjacent sensor device.

    摘要: A sensor for detecting the angular position of a rotary drive shaft is disclosed which includes a stator, a rotor connected to the stator by a ball joint and including a moving target, and a drive shaft connected to the rotor. The moving target passes through a detection system and produces a signal as a function of its position. Variations in the sensor output signal due to misalignment of the rotor and the drive shaft are minimized by locating the moving target close to the axis of rotation of the ball joint.

At least the rear ferrule (90) includes a shoulder (100) for firmly anchoring the coil and cable assembly (110) within the encapsulation (20). In addition an injection molding process provides the durable encapsulation (20) which bonds with a dielectric (68) of the cable (60) and symmetrically locks the coil and cable assembly (110) therein.

    摘要: An integrated circuit sensor assembly (10) is mounted to a solid surface (11) of a metal leadframe (12) by placing RTV adhesive (30-36) at the four corners of the substrate (14). The RTV material cover less than the entire surface area between the leadframe surface and the substrate. The RTV provides coplanar support for the sensor assembly while maintaining a gap between a significant portion of the surface area between the substrate and the leadframe surface. The metal leadframe undergoes compression and expansion stresses from temperature cycling during the manufacturing process. The gap decouples the sensor assembly from leadframe and provides stress isolation. Moreover, the flexibility and resiliency of the four corner RTV dots absorb stress induced by the leadframe.
