    摘要: Method for making a stem web material having a plurality of stems extending from discrete regions (patches or stripes) of the web, comprising: a) providing a web (e.g. nonwoven, woven or knit textile fabric; paper; microporous membrane, polymer film; etc.); b) providing discrete quantities of a polymer at a temperature above its softening point or in molten state; c) fusing the discrete quantities of polymer to the web; and d) forming a plurality of stems in each of the discrete quantities of polymer material. The stems can be formed by pressing the web on which the patches or stripes of polymer are deposited against a tool having a surface with a plurality of stem-forming holes. The stems can be given enlarged ends by bringing the surface of the stem web close to a heated surface.

A display device manufacturing method of the present invention comprises a step of applying an adhesive forming an adhesive layer on at least one of bonding surfaces of a display panel and a substrate, a step of bring the edge of one side of a bonding surface of the display panel into contact with a bonding surface of the substrate so that the display panel and the substrate are arranged opposite to each other substantially in a wedge shape in side view, and a step of making the substrate approach the display panel while maintaining the arrangement of the wedge shape and of bonding the substrate to the display panel while spreading the adhesive by the bonding surfaces.

    摘要: A unique laminate structure, a process for making the laminate, and use of the laminate in a fastening system for disposable soft goods is disclosed. The laminate is composed of a cling film layer having autoadhesive surface properties bonded to a flexible, but substantially non-stretchable, base carrier layer. The base carrier layer is formed of a material which eliminates, or substantially limits, any stretching of the cling film. The cling film layer includes a thermoplastic polymer coating that provides autoadhesive surface properties selected from the group consisting of polyolefins, acrylic modified polyolefins, vinyl acetate modified polyolefins and acrylic polymer. Preferably, the polyolefin may be polypropylene or polyethylene. Preferably, the carrier or base layer is comprised of a nonwoven material, or a thermoplastic film. A laminate composed of a cling film layer and a non-stretchable base layer is particularly useful as a fastening system for a disposable diaper or a feminine care pad with low peel, but high shear strength.
