The armature assembly apparatus has an armature holding apparatus to hold a partially assembled armature such that a rotation axis of the armature is horizontal. The armature assembly apparatus has a rotating device for rotating the partially assembled armature about a rotation axis. The armature assembly apparatus also has a ring segment conveyance for conveying an armature ring segment to a mounting position relative to a free ring segment portion of the partially assembled armature.
Abstract:
An electromagnetic generator comprises one or more flux assembly having at least one coil and at least one magnetic field source separated by a gap. An interference drum has a sidewall at least partially positioned inside the gap and comprising at least one magnetic field permeable zone and at least one magnetic field impermeable zone. The interference drum is movable relative to the at least one coil and to the at least one magnetic field source to alternatively position the at least one magnetic field permeable zone and the at least one magnetic field impermeable zone of the sidewall inside the gap. When the interference drum is moved, magnetic flux is created in the coil, and induces electrical current to flow into the coil. The coil may be connected to an external circuit, such that the electrical current may flow through the external circuit.

Abstract:
A cooling system and method for a wind power generator and a wind power generator set. The cooling system for a wind power generator includes air extraction pipelines and air discharge devices. The air extraction pipelines are located inside a generator case. A pipeline inlet in communication with a generator, a first pipeline outlet in communication with the outside of the generator case, and a second pipeline outlet in communication with the inside of the generator case are arranged on the air extraction pipelines, and the first and second pipeline outlets are provided with air doors. Therefore, the cooling efficiency of the generator set in a high temperature environment is enhanced, and the temperature of the generator case is kept in a low temperature environment. The cost is lowered and the consumed energy is reduced.

Abstract:
Apparatus and method for tuning the magnetic field of windmill generators to obtain efficient operation over a broad RPM range. The windmill generator includes fixed windings (or stator) inside a rotating rotor carrying permanent magnets. The permanent magnets are generally cylindrical and have North and South poles formed longitudinally in the magnets. Magnetically conducting circuits are formed by the magnets residing in magnetic conducting pole pieces (for example, low carbon or soft steel, and/or laminated insulated layers, of non-magnetizable material). Rotating the permanent magnets, or rotating non-magnetically conducting shunting pieces, inside the pole pieces, either strengthens or weakens the resulting magnetic field to adjust the windmill generators for low RPM torque or for efficient high RPM efficiency. Varying the rotor magnetic field adjusts the voltage output of the windmill generators allowing the windmill generator to maintain a fixed voltage output.
