摘要: The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. The present application relates to the field of radio communication technology, and discloses a random access method, a terminal equipment, and a computer readable storage medium, wherein the random access method includes: receiving configuration information for random access from a base station; determining available first physical random access channel transmission occasions (ROs) according to at least one configured CSI-RS based on the configuration information; and performing random access according to the available first ROs. The method of the embodiment of the present application enables the UE to determine the time-frequency resources for random access by the configured CSI-RS indication.

摘要: A method of operating a communications device in a wireless communications system that supports a random access procedure. The method comprises receiving, from an infrastructure equipment, a scheduling message comprising an indication of an allocation of radio resources to be used for a random access procedure message, selecting a transport block size (TBS) from a plurality of permitted TBS values for the transmission of the random access procedure message, and determining whether the selected TBS is lower than a maximum TBS of the plurality of permitted TBS values. If it is determined that the selected TBS is lower than the maximum TBS, the method comprises selecting a time for starting the transmission of the random access procedure message from a plurality of permitted starting transmission times, and transmitting the random access procedure message to the infrastructure equipment in the allocated communications resources using the selected TBS.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Signaling of a radio frequency (RF) band associated with a synchronization signal (SS) block detected by a user equipment (UE) may be transmitted to a base station. For example, a base station may transmit a set of SS blocks to multiple UEs, where the SS blocks are frequency division multiplexed such that each SS block is transmitted in a respective RF band. A UE may receive one or more of the transmitted SS blocks and determine a preferred SS block from the received SS blocks. The UE may in turn transmit an message to the base station that indicates the RF band of the preferred SS block. In some cases, the base station may optionally transmit a request to the UE to transmit the indication of the RF band.

摘要: A system for converging fifth generation (5G) communication systems for supporting higher data rates beyond fourth generation (4G) systems with a technology for Internet of things (IoT) is provided. The communication method and system may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. A system is provided for determining system information validity by acquiring and storing a first system information block and other system information, including information on a public land mobile network (PLMN) identity and a value tag, and determining whether the stored system information is valid for the cell. As another example, a terminal and base station are provided for performing beam failure detection and a recovery procedure using first and second configuration information for beam failure recovery (BFR) and if failure is detected, initiating a first random access (RA) procedure and if second configuration information is received while the first RA procedure is ongoing, terminating the first RA procedure and initiating a second RA procedure based on the second configuration information.

The method includes, responsive to making the determination, transmitting a SR on Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) resource(s) of the PUCCH resource(s) indicated in the RRC message to obtain an uplink grant to transmit the RLC status report for the RLC PDU.

摘要: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for concurrent link setup and downlink data retrieval, e.g., for high efficiency WLAN. An access point (AP) may send a trigger element that allocates a resource for pre-association transmissions with the AP. The trigger element may allocate the resource for random access and/or deterministic access. The AP may receive, from an unassociated STA, a first frame via one or more resource units (RUs) allocated in the trigger element. The AP may determine a pre-association identifier (PID) that identifies the unassociated STA. The AP may send the PID to the unassociated STA, for example, in the trigger element or in the multi-STA ACK. The AP may send a second frame associated with a multi-user (MU) transmission that includes the PID. The AP may send a trigger frame that includes the PID.
