    摘要: The invention discloses a magnetic badminton racket comprising: a handle, a shaft, a head frame including an outer surface and an inner surface and a plurality of gut strings crisscrossed within the inner surface. The head frame is provided with a magnet mounting section centered on its top, and several sockets are provided into the outer surface, spaced from each other and vertical to the outer surface. Several small neodymium magnets are fixed within the sockets, with their top surfaces exposed and flush with the outer surface. Each magnet is in the shape of a cylinder, cuboid, truncated cone or truncated quadrangular pyramid, which possesses strong magnetic attraction, is not subject to detaching and would not affect the aesthetic appearance of the racket. The invention also discloses a shuttlecock suitable for use together with the racket, to enable to pick up shuttlecock conveniently by mean of magnetic attraction therebetween.

The dimension a is at least 1.2 times the dimension b. The inner peripheral wall includes string holes. The cross segments transversely extend from one of the string holes to another, and the main segments longitudinally extend from one of the string holes to another. The cross segment closest to the handle portion and the end point of the longitudinal dimension, a, closest to the handle portion define a second longitudinal dimension, c. The ratio of dimension a to dimension c is at least 6.5. The string bed has at least one more main segment than cross segment.

    摘要: A sports racquet having a plurality of string port holes and conventional string holes is formed of a single tube of prepreg material. When molded, mold elements press opposed portions of the prepreg tube into contact with one another, and shape the adjoining prepreg material into a string port hole blanks. The portion of the pressed-together material which initially blocks the string port hole is removed after molding so that the string port holes extend through the frame. Alternatively, the mold elements cause the prepreg tube to follow a serpentine shape, thereby defining string port holes which are open alternately along the top and bottom surface of the frame. A pair of cover rings may be secured to the top and bottom racquet surfaces to cover the open sides of the string port holes.

    摘要: A sports racquet frame is built of a composite of laminations of fibrous material as impregnated by a thermosetting resin. The head section of the frame has an upper tube preferably disposed above the string bed plane and a lower tube preferably disposed below the string bed plane. A solid bridge of material integrally joins the upper tube to the lower tube. In a preferred embodiment the bridge is disposed radially exteriorly of the center line of the tubes, to maximize the length of string segments, which are strung to the bridge.
