摘要: A method for removing methane and non-methane volatile organic compound concentrations from a gas stream. The method includes exposing the target gas to a halogen gas and a light from a suitable light source having a wavelength sufficient to activate halogen gas to halogen radicals, wherein the halogen radicals react with the VOC in the target gas to provide the target gas with a removed concentration of VOC as well as a device including a reaction chamber for reacting the halogen radicals with the VOC in the target gas.

摘要: A dust collecting system for single crystal growth system includes an air compressor, a dust collecting device, a first inert gas source, a rotary pump and a scrubber. The air compressor is fluidly connected to an exit pipe of the single crystal growth system. The exit pipe is used to exhaust unstable dust from the single crystal growth system. The dust collecting device is fluidly connecting to the exit pipe to collect the dust oxide. The first inert gas source is fluidly connected to the exit pipe to blow a first inert gas into the exit pipe to compel the dust oxide toward the dust collecting device. The rotary pump is fluidly connected to the dust collecting device. The scrubber is fluidly connected to the rotary pump. The rotary pump transports the residual dust oxide toward the scrubber. The present disclosure further provides a method for collecting dust.

摘要: A method and a filter device for the dry filtration of a gas flow carrying foreign objects in a filter device for purifying waste gas produced in additive manufacturing technologies, conducting a raw gas flow containing foreign objects into a raw gas space of a filter unit having at least one filter surface separating a raw gas side from a clean gas side, feeding oxidant to a reaction region located on the raw gas side of the filter surface downstream of the filter surface, such that foreign objects contained in material cleaned off from the filter surface and/or in the raw gas flow react with the oxidant in the reaction region to form foreign objects containing oxides.

摘要: A method and system to treat cooking emissions (e.g., smoke) employs a nanosecond high voltage pulse generator and a transient pulsed plasma reactor. The system is used in a scheme that substantially reduces particulate matter produced in commercial charbroiling processes (e.g., cooking of hamburger meat). Both a reduction in the size distribution and total particulate mass is achieved using the method and system described herein.

摘要: The disclosure provides seven integrated methods for the chemical sequestration of carbon dioxide (CO2), nitric oxide (NO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2) (collectively NOR, where x=1, 2) and sulfur dioxide (SO2) using closed loop technology. The methods recycle process reagents and mass balance consumable reagents that can be made using electrochemical separation of sodium chloride (NaCl) or potassium chloride (KCl). The technology applies to marine and terrestrial exhaust gas sources for CO2, NOx and SO2. The integrated technology combines compatible and green processes that capture and/or convert CO2, NOx and SO2 into compounds that enhance the environment, many with commercial value.

摘要: One aspect of the invention relates to a method comprising a single-stage conversion of an atmospheric pollutant, such as NO, NO2 and/or SOx in a first stream to one or more mineral acids and/or salts thereof by reacting with nonionic gas phase chlorine dioxide (ClO20), wherein the reaction is carried out in the gas phase. Another aspect of the invention relates to a method comprising first adjusting the atmospheric pollutant concentrations in a first stream to a molar ratio of about 1:1, and then reacting with an aqueous metal hydroxide solution (MOH). Another aspect of the invention relates to an apparatus that can be used to carry out the methods disclosed herein. The methods disclosed herein are unexpectedly efficient and cost effective, and can be applied to a stream comprising high concentration and large volume of atmospheric pollutants.
