The landing area may comprise a one or more visible or non-visible markers/emitters capable of generating composite images to assist in landing the unmanned vehicle upon the reconfigurable, autonomous system.

摘要: A method for controlling a landing gear of an aerial vehicle includes determining whether a relative height of the aerial vehicle is greater than a height threshold and, in response to the relative height being not greater than the height threshold and the aerial vehicle having not lowered the landing gear, adjusting the relative height to the height threshold or above, and lowering the landing gear. The relative height is a vertical height of the aerial vehicle with respect to an object, and the height threshold is a safe flight height.

The assembly comprises a carrier (with a cavity) and a payload (within the cavity). The payload is arranged to be controllably expelled from the carrier and once expelled from the carrier, the payload is adapted to enter the water; and the payload transmits a signal after entering the water.

摘要: A method for automated assignment of a staging pad to an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) includes: launching the UAV from a launch location; tracking a drift of the UAV from the launch location; determining a subsequent position of the UAV after the launching based upon geofiducial navigation; calculating an estimated position of the launch location by offsetting the subsequent position by the drift; attempting to match the estimated position to an available staging pad of a plurality of staging pads; and assigning the UAV to the available staging pad when the estimated position successfully matches to the available staging pad.

摘要: The present invention relates to the field of unmanned aerial vehicle safety protection technologies, and in particular, to an unmanned aerial vehicle safety protection method and apparatus and an unmanned aerial vehicle. The implementation can reduce an occurrence probability that an unmanned aerial vehicle crashes at a high altitude when ultrasound encounters abnormalities to get out of control at the high altitude and fail to descend, rise, move to the left or move to the right and land without slowing down to violently hit the ground, so that the safety of the unmanned aerial vehicle is enhanced, and user experience is improved.

The method includes: first acquiring ground environment information when the UAV is in a severe low-power protection state, and then obtaining landing safety judgment information according to the ground environment information, and further controlling a flight state of the UAV according to the landing safety judgment information to realize a safe landing of the UAV.
