摘要: An obstacle avoidance system is provided to assist a pilot in avoiding obstacles. The obstacle avoidance system includes a set of proximity sensors and a pilot interface device. The set of proximity sensors detects nearby obstacles by emitting a signal and receiving a reflected signal from an obstacle. A processor receives an obstacle indication from the set of proximity sensors and detects the obstacle that is in proximity to the aircraft based at least in part on the reflected signal. The processor acquires a distance and a direction to the obstacle and calculates a threat level posed by the obstacle. The pilot interface device is operable to display the following: an ownship icon indicative of the aircraft, a velocity vector icon indicative of a velocity vector of the aircraft, and an obstacle graphic indicative of the distance, direction, and threat level of the obstacle.

The apparatus for containing and charging an unmanned VTOL aircraft includes a post, an extended member, a cover, a fastening unit, and a charging unit. The post is placed on a ground. The extended member is connected to the post. The cover is provided on the extended member, and is configured to be opened or closed in order to contain and protect the unmanned VTOL aircraft. The fastening unit is provided in the cover, and is configured to fasten the unmanned VTOL aircraft. The charging unit is provided in the fastening unit, and is configured to charge the unmanned VTOL aircraft.

摘要: A method for displaying an outside scene on a cockpit display system. The system comprises two display areas contiguous along a horizontal aircraft axis and a processor to generate the display, on one of the areas, of an initial scene image from data from the aircraft's avionics electronics, the data comprising the aircraft's sideslip angle β. The processor displays, on the scene image, a flight path vector indicating a point on the scene image towards which the aircraft is heading. When the measured angle β exceeds a threshold, the processor displays the initial scene image on a first display area and the display of a supplementary outside scene image, on a second display area, the supplementary scene image representing a lateral extension of the initial scene image. The processor also displays the flight path vector superimposed on one of the two images based on a value of angle β.

摘要: An electronic human machine interface (HMI) module is configured to receive at least one input from an operator of a manually-operated vehicle. The electronic HMI module includes an electronic graphical display unit and an electronic control module. The electronic graphical display unit is configured to display information corresponding to the manually-operated vehicle and information corresponding to an autonomously operated unmanned vehicle (UV) located remotely from the manually-operated vehicle. The electronic control module is in signal communication with the UV and is configured to receive an electronic image signal from the UV. The electronic control module is further configured to display a real-time image captured by the UV on the electronic graphical display unit based on the image signal.

摘要: A method is provided of compensating for variations in distance and orientation between first and second wing-mounted cameras of an aircraft due to flexing of at least one aircraft wing. The method comprises determining a first distance and orientation between the first wing-mounted camera and the second wing-mounted camera during a neutral wing condition of the aircraft. The method further comprises determining a second distance and orientation between the first wing-mounted camera and the second wing-mounted camera during a flexed wing condition of the aircraft. The method also comprises processing the difference between the first and second distances and orientations to provide a real-time varying distance and orientation for use in providing a compensated distance between the first and second wing-mounted cameras.
