Abstract: A retainer has a housing comprising a plunger receiver having a slot disposed therein and an outer wall comprising a lever opening. A plunger has a body and a foot. The body comprises a pin opening. A pin is disposed in the pin opening and the slot. A lever is rotatably coupled to the housing at the lever opening and operably coupled to the plunger. The lever has a first end extending within the housing. The first end rotates relative to the housing within the lever opening. The first end comprising a cam and a pin opening receiving the pin. A spring is disposed between the housing and the plunger within the plunger receiver. The spring urging the foot away from the plunger receiver. A cam engaging surface is disposed within the housing retaining the first end of the lever in the lever opening.

Abstract: An endless track for propelling a snowmobile. The endless track includes an inner drive surface and an outer ground-engaging surface opposite to the inner drive surface. A first side surface is opposite to a second side surface. A plurality of first side lugs are adjacent to the first side surface. A plurality of second side lugs are adjacent to the second side surface. The plurality of first side lugs and the plurality of second side lugs provide traction when the snowmobile is operated off-axis and tilted on its side as well as provides traction surfaces on additional planes other than the outer carcass of the endless track when the track is submerged in the snow.

Abstract: A method and system for operating a two-stroke engine includes a fuel system comprising a fuel pressure sensor, fuel temperature sensor and a fuel injector and a controller in communication with the fuel pressure sensor and fuel temperature sensor. The controller controls the fuel injector with a fuel pulsewidth determined by determining a beginning time of a window for measuring fuel pressure, determining an ending time of the window, measuring fuel pressure between the beginning time and the ending time, determining a fuel pulsewidth based on the fuel pressure and fuel temperature and injecting fuel into the two-stroke engine in response to a desired fuel mass.

Abstract: An all-terrain vehicle is disclosed having a braking system with an anti-lock braking control module and a first brake master cylinder hydraulically coupled to the anti-lock braking control module. A first brake actuator is coupled to the first brake master cylinder and a brake caliper is coupled to at least some of the ground engaging members. The first brake master cylinder upon actuation provides anti-lock braking to either the first or second ground engaging members. A second brake master cylinder is hydraulically coupled to the anti-lock braking control module. A second brake actuator is coupled to the second brake master cylinder and a brake caliper is coupled to at least some of the ground engaging members. The second brake master cylinder upon actuation provides anti-lock braking to either the first or second ground engaging members. The vehicle also has a speed monitor with a gear ring positioned on an exterior surface of a stub shaft and a speed pickup positioned adjacent to the gear ring.
