The measurement processor measures amplitudes of noise components of a received amplitude modulated signal prior to demodulation. The measurement processor also identifies a frequency of a noise component having an amplitude larger than the amplitude of another noise component. A carrier frequency generator generates a carrier frequency substantially at a harmonic of the identified noise component. The carrier frequency is used to generate and demodulate the amplitude modulated signal.

The assembly comprises a wheel rim (10) for supporting a tire, a nave plate (11) mounted to the rim, and a drive plate (21) mounted to an axle flange (26). A torque ring (18) has first key ways (16, 17) for cooperating with first keys (14, 15) on nave plate (11), and second key ways (19, 20) for cooperating with second keys (22, 23) on drive plate (21). In this way, torque and radial and axial forces are transferred between the drive plate (21) and nave plate (11), but radial or axial forces, tending to remove the assembly from the axle, and exceeding respective predetermined levels, are prevented from being transferred from the nave plate (11) to the axle.

A broadcast system provides support for clients to receive transmissions over a unicast or a multicast channel from a broadcast server. A server administrator configures each of a first server and client systems connected to the server to receive data in one of a multicast or unicast transmission mode. An empirical test determines whether an intervening network can support the configured mode and if not, transmission is performed using a fall back mode. The first server is able to provide access to data streams from other servers to the client systems connected thereto. Upon requesting a data stream from another server, the first server receives the data stream, replicates the data stream, transmits the data stream to the requesting client system and stores the replicated data stream for immediate access by any requesting client server connected thereto.

A method for obtaining light field data of a scene from a sequence of images of the scene, each image being captured at a different viewpoint using a non-light-field image capture device is described. The method includes obtaining a reference image of the scene at a reference viewpoint, an interest area of the scene being included in the reference image and a reference position (x0,y0) being associated with the interest area in a reference local coordinate system of the capture device. For a current image of the scene at a current viewpoint, the method identifies the interest area of the scene in the current image, determines, in the reference local coordinate system, a current position (xc,yc) of the interest area identified in the current image, compares the current position with the reference position and provides a capture guidance indicator adapted to guide in relative positioning of the capture device towards the interest area, as a function of results of the comparison between the current position and the reference position.

A method and device for eye gaze estimation with regard to a sequence of images. The method comprises receiving a sequence of first video images and a corresponding sequence of first eye images of a user watching at the first video images; determining first saliency maps associated with at least a part of the first video images; estimating associated first gaze points from the first saliency maps associated with the video images associated with the first eye images; storing of pairs of first eye images/first gaze points in a database; for a new eye image, called second eye image, estimating an associated second gaze point from the estimated first gaze points and from a second saliency map associated with a second video image associated with the second eye image; storing the second eye image and its associated second gaze point in the database.
