    摘要: The present invention relates to a pigmented aqueous basecoat material comprising a polyether-based reaction product which is preparable by reaction of (a) at least one compound of the formula (I) X1-Y-X2  (I) in which X1 and X2, independently of one another, are each a functional group which is reactive toward hydroxyl groups, and Y is a divalent aliphatic or araliphatic, carboxy-functional organic radical having a number-average molecular weight of 100 to 1000 g/mol, with (b) at least one polyether of the general structural formula (II) in which R is a C3 to C6 alkylene radical and n is selected accordingly such that the polyether (b) possesses a number-average molecular weight of 200 to 4000 g/mol, where components (a) and (b) are used in the reaction in a molar ratio of 0.7/2.3 to 1.6/1.7 and the resulting reaction product possesses a number-average molecular weight of 500 to 15 000 g/mol and an acid number of 10 to 120 mg KOH/g.

    摘要: The invention relates to aqueous, cationically stabilized primary dispersions comprising dispersed polymer particles having a Z-average particle diameter of 5 to 500 nm and which are obtainable by emulsion polymerization of at least one olefinically unsaturated monomer (A). The emulsion polymerization takes place in the presence of one or more emulsifiers (EQ) having the following general formula: R1—N−(R2)(R3)(R4)X⊖, where R1 is a moiety with 15 to 40 carbon atoms which contains at least one aromatic group and at least one aliphatic group, and which contains at least one functional group selected from hydroxyl groups, thiol groups, and primary or secondary amino groups, and/or has at least one carbon-carbon multiple bond, R2, R3, and R4, independently of one another, are the same or different aliphatic moieties containing 1 to 14 carbon atoms, and X stands for the acid anion of an organic or inorganic acid. The invention further relates to a method for producing the primary dispersions, and to coating agents which include the primary dispersions, and to the use of the primary dispersions for producing electrodeposition coatings, and also to conductive substrates coated with the coating compositions. The invention further relates to emulsifiers which are used for producing the primary dispersions according to the invention.
