    Abstract: A hybrid simulation model includes a real model, a bus interface and an acceleration model. The real model simulates a group of instructions. The acceleration model includes a trace generation unit, a trace replay unit, a selection unit, a snapshot generation and load unit and a virtual breakpoint control unit. The trace generation unit records at least one trace file of the real model in a first simulation. The trace replay unit reads and accordingly accesses the at least one trace file. The selection unit dynamically switches to perform a real simulation or a trace simulation. The snapshot generation and load unit generates at least one status snapshot file and loads the at least one status snapshot file to the real model in repeated simulations. The virtual breakpoint control unit controls the selection unit to switch between the trace simulation and the real simulation according to a virtual breakpoint.

    Abstract: An image projection system includes a scaler IC, a micro-projector, a video connector, and a controller. The video connector is coupled to the scaler IC and the micro-projector. The controller controls the video connector and the scaler IC to form a first signal path mode and a second signal path mode. The video connector transmits a first image signal from the scaler IC for external displaying in the first signal path mode. The video connector receives a second image signal from a peripheral device and passes the second image signal to the micro-projector for projection in the second signal path mode.

    Abstract: A transceiver front-end provides an interface between a transmission medium and transmitter, and between a transmission medium and receiver. The transceiver front-end includes a hybrid circuit, a high-pass filter, and a gain stage, that permits the reduction or the complete elimination of buffer amplifiers. Buffer amplifiers can be eliminated because the hybrid circuit and/or the high-pass filter are adapted so that they can be directly connected to each other, without a loss in circuit performance. Furthermore, the high-pass filter and/or the gain stage are also adapted so they can be directly connected. As such, the transceiver front-end can be constructed using all passive components, reducing or eliminating excess heat generation.

    Abstract: A double-layer liquid crystal lens comprises a first transparent substrate, a second transparent substrate, a third transparent substrate, a first liquid crystal layer interposed between the first and the second transparent substrates, and a second liquid crystal layer interposed between the second and the third transparent substrates. The upper side of the first transparent substrate is provided with a transparent ITO electrode and an alignment film disposed on the transparent electrode. Each of the upper and the lower sides of the second transparent substrate is provided with a alignment film. The upper side of the third transparent substrate is provided with an apertured electrode while the lower side thereof is provided with an alignment film. The first and the third transparent substrates are made of glass while the second transparent substrate is made of plastic material. The total thickness of the double-layer liquid crystal lens is further reduced by forming the second transparent substrate with a thinner plastic transparent substrate.

    Abstract: An electronic system with a satellite navigation function and a display thereof are provided. The display of the electronic system is designed to be detachable and has a GPS module inside. In normal condition, the display is connected to a main body to be a common display. In another aspect, when the display is detached from the main body, the display may be used as a satellite navigation system on a vehicle independently. This makes use of the characteristic of the electronic system that the electronic system has a bigger display body. A user does not need to buy a satellite navigation system additionally, and the disadvantage that the display body of the satellite navigation system is so small that the characters are not easy to be recognized is overcome.

    Abstract: A composition of an anti-glare coating has a resin, multiple particles and a dispersant. The resin is selected from the group consisting of thermosetting resin and light-curing resin. The particles have a dimension that is from about 30 nanometers (nm) to about 10 micrometers (μm). Because the dispersant stabilizes and keeps a separation distance between each two particles, the particles cannot aggregate in or precipitate out of the anti-glare coating. Thus, the anti-glare coating can be coated easily on the substrate and a surface of the anti-glare film is uniform to provide an improved anti-glare effect. Moreover, the dispersant allows adjustment of haze, gloss and distinctness of image of a substrate coated with the anti-glare coating.
