摘要: A light emitting device comprises: an LED chip array comprising a plurality of LEDs formed on a single die (monolithic chip array) and at least one discrete LED that is separate from the LED chip array connected in series with the LED chip array. In an AC-drivable device the LED chip array is AC-drivable and two or more discrete LEDs are configured to be AC-drivable. The device can further comprise a package in which the LED chip array and discrete LED(s) are mounted. The discrete LEDs are configured such that positive and negative half wave periods of an AC drive voltage are mapped onto oppositely connected LED such that oppositely connected LED chips are alternately operable on a respective half wave period.

摘要: A method for controlling congestion for real-time video transmission in a wireless network includes receiving a packet loss rate of a video camera in a wireless network, receiving an estimated maximum throughput of the video camera from the camera to a server, decrementing a bit transmission rate when the packet loss rate is greater than a first predetermined threshold, incrementing the bit transmission rate when the packet loss rate is less than a second predetermined threshold for a predetermined time period, and transmitting the bit transmission rate to a video encoder that is part of an application layer of a network communication protocol for the wireless network.

摘要: An exemplary shading detecting method for a camera module is provided. In the method, a plurality of brightness values are measured from a plurality of predetermined regions of a stable rectangular image generated by the camera module. A plurality of brightness differences, each based on a comparison between a respective two of the brightness values, chosen from among the brightness values measured, are calculated. Each brightness difference is judged as to whether it exceeds a corresponding predetermined threshold. If at least one brightness difference is judged to exceed the corresponding threshold, the camera module is a rejected. A corresponding shading detecting apparatus, for facilitating the shading detecting method, is also provided.

摘要: The present invention provides an electrolyte containing novel additive for electrochemical device and the electrochemical device thereof. The additive is a compound represented by below formula (I): wherein R1 and R2 are independently hydrogen, methyl, ethyl, or halogen; n and m are independently 1, 2, or 3. The additive of the present invention can protect the surface of the carbonaceous material on the anode and suppress the occurrence of exfoliation, thereby increasing the lifetime of the electrochemical device. Furthermore, the additive of the present invention also slows down the decay of capacity on the cathode during charging-discharging cycles, and hence maintains a better performance.

摘要: A compact add-drop multiplexer with low wavelength temperature sensitivity. In the present invention, a plurality of spacer rings is disposed between the optical elements of the add-drop multiplexer, and a heat curing epoxy or an ultraviolet curing epoxy adheres the optical elements to each other. The spacer rings are formed with a thermal expansion coefficient within a predetermined range to compensate for thermal stress of the WDM filter.
