Abstract:
A valve comprises a coupling device having a driven member bound to the drive shaft of a flap, a driving member bound to an output shaft of an actuator, and an elastic member. The driving member comprises attachments that hooks up the elastic member to the driving member in a temporary position in which the elastic member is elastically loaded. The driven member comprises at least one release member that at least partly releases the elastic member of the attachments when the coupling device is brought to an intermediate state or the elastic member, when the coupling device is in the intermediate state, may be at least partly released from the attachments. The elastic member once released, adopts a definitive use position under the effect of relaxation of the elastic load, the coupling device then adopting the operational state.
Abstract:
An exhaust component comprises a main casing and at least one partial casing pressed against the main casing. In a developed state, the partial casing has an elongated shape along a longitudinal line and is defined along a transverse direction, substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal line, by two side edges opposite one another. The partial casing has a given developed longitudinal length. The partial casing has no fastening to the main casing on at least one longitudinal segment, and the longitudinal segment extends from one side edge to the other and extends in total over a cumulative developed longitudinal length of at least 20% of the given developed longitudinal length.
Abstract:
An ammonia generating device is used for the treatment of exhaust gases of internal combustion engines, particularly for motor vehicles. The device includes a tank having a body capable of releasing ammonia by desorption. The device is also provided with a first single connection member comprising an electrical connection to supply the device with electricity and a fluid connection to allow evacuation of the ammonia produced following the desorption reaction.
Abstract:
An injection device comprises a volume, an injection device to inject a jet of liquid reagent into the volume, at least one first impactor positioned in the volume, and a first heating device to heat the first impactor. The first heating device comprises a first heating member having a device having a thermally conductive zone in contact with the first impactor or defining the first impactor. A resistive heating element is housed in the device and arranged to heat the thermally conductive zone.
Abstract:
A spiral exchanger has a winding axis and includes an outer sheet and an inner sheet secured to one another in a fastening plane before winding, and delimiting a space for a fluid between them. The outer sheet and the inner sheet are wound on themselves and each sheet includes a plurality of flexible areas and a plurality of rigid areas. The flexible areas are more flexible than the rigid areas during folding. The flexible areas and the rigid areas are extended along the winding axis, and at least one flexible area of the outer sheet and at least one flexible area of the inner sheet that delimit the space between them form a pair of flexible areas that are aligned in the same radial direction.
Abstract:
An exhaust volume for combustion gases from a motor vehicle engine comprises at least one exhaust duct delimited by a wall comprising an end segment, and at least one flange having a bearing surface. The flange delimits at least one exhaust gas inlet communicating with the exhaust duct. The exhaust gas inlet is delimited by a cannon connected to the flange, with the cannon being attached to the end segment. At least one outer neck is attached to the end segment. The end segment is arranged between the flange and the outer neck, with the end segment being pierced with at least one hole between the flange and the outer neck. The end segment, the flange, and the outer neck are being secured through the addition of a filler.
Abstract:
The heat exchanger comprises a lower metal sheet, —an upper metal sheet, and a fin sheet delimiting the fins. The lower metal sheet, the upper metal sheet and the fin sheet form a three-layer structure wound in a spiral, whereby the lower metal sheet and the upper metal sheet delimit a first passage for the circulation of a first fluid. The heat exchanger has a set of spacers arranged in the first passage, whereby these spacers are rods separate from the lower and upper metal sheets.
Abstract:
The exhaust line for a heat engine comprises, between an exhaust inlet and an exhaust outlet, a nitrogen oxide trap which is fitted on a filtering portion. It comprises, between the nitrogen oxide trap and the exhaust inlet, a branching portion which is capable of branching the exhaust gases away from the nitrogen oxide trap and switching means for the exhaust gases in order to cause them to flow through the filtering portion or branching portion.
Abstract:
An ammonia generating device for treating exhaust gases of internal combustion engines, notably of automobile vehicles, includes a reservoir having a body capable of releasing ammonia by desorption and a heating device positioned inside the reservoir to heat the body in the reservoir. The heating device comprises a heat generating element that has an elongated form. The heating device further includes at least one heat transfer feature laid out along an axial direction of the heat generating element and extending in a direction radial to the heat generating element.
Abstract:
A tank for pressurized gas such as hydrogen, comprises a paste sealant, a sealing envelope, and a base comprising a recess accommodating a neck. A substantially annular external cavity is between a convex surfaces of the neck and a concave surfaces of the recess A substantially annular inner cavity is between a concave surface of the neck and a convex surface of the recess. The paste sealant occupies the annular external and annular inner cavities uniformly and thus ensures the mechanical strength and the gas seal between the sealing envelope and the base. The sealing envelope comprises a body and a neck on the surfaces of which at least two angularly equidistant protrusions extend radially.
