    Abstract: Provided are a decorative part, a wheel, and a fixation structure of such decorative part and wheel that are unaffected by variations in sizes at the time of manufacturing. The decorative part is to be attached to a vehicular wheel. This decorative part has the fixation portions to be fixed to the wheel; and the first plate-shaped ribs and the second plate-shaped ribs that are arranged at given intervals. The decorative part is to be fixed to the wheel with linear convex portions formed on the wheel being arranged in between and positioned to the first plate-shaped ribs and the second plate-shaped ribs.

    Abstract: In a state that an engine is started up by using a mobile device from outside a vehicle, a power mode changeover switch is switched from a fixed contact OFF to a fixed contact START while avoiding a fixed contact ACC and a fixed contact ON, and the power mode changeover switch is maintained at the fixed contact START even after the engine is placed in an operation state. When an electric power is not supplied through the fixed contact ACC, a detection unit places itself in a state in which a detection operation is possible, and when the electric power is supplied, the detection unit places itself in a detection operation prohibition state.

    Abstract: A vehicle door opening/closing device includes a front door configured to open and close a front left opening of a vehicle body, a rear sliding door configured to open and close a rear left opening of the vehicle body, a vehicle door opening/closing device main body configured to automatically open and close the rear sliding door, a detection unit configured to detect the presence of the left foot of a user, and a control unit (detection ECU, door lock ECU, sliding door driving ECU). If the front door is in an opened state at the time when the detection unit detects the presence of the left foot, the control unit does not put the rear sliding door into a closed state.

    Abstract: A window cover for an automobile integrally includes: a front sheet to cover an outer surface of an automobile windshield; and a pair of side sheets to cover outer surfaces of left and right front door glasses, respectively. The side sheets are fixed to a vehicle body by a fixing device. The device includes a plate-shaped tab fixed to a rear edge of each side sheet. The tab is fixed by being inserted into a clearance between a rear edge of each of the front door glasses and a front edge of a rear door glass of a rear door placed rearward of the rear edge. Accordingly, convenience is improved because the cover can be easily attached to the vehicle body with the front and rear doors remaining closed, and workability is not deteriorated because the cover is not twisted or entwined when the front doors are opened or closed.

    Abstract: In a component-securing device, in a state in which a base member is secured to a component by the engagement of an engagement portion of a clip to a to-be-engaged portion of a joining pin, pushing a pair of pressing portions in an outer peripheral portion of the clip in a direction (see arrow A) of approaching each other makes the outer peripheral portion deform and a pair of joining pin insertion portions move in a direction of moving away from each other, and engagement between the engagement portion of the clip and the to-be-engaged portion of the joining pin is released, thereby enabling the clip to be polled out from the joining pin. Merely deforming the outer peripheral portion of the clip inward enables the engagement with the joining pin to be released.

    Abstract: An ejection nozzle member attached to a vehicle-mounted camera is formed from an elastic material, and includes a cover member mounted on an upper surface of a casing, the cover member having therein an air passage to which compressed air is supplied. A pair of seal members are formed in an air ejecting unit, from which the compressed air is ejected, on outer sides of the air passage in a widthwise direction. The seal members are formed in lip shapes, protruding downward and toward the center in the widthwise direction on a side of the air passage. When the ejection nozzle member is attached to the camera, distal ends of the seal members are placed in contact mutually on the side of the air passage, and are pressed toward the casing by the compressed air that flows in the air passage to thereby be placed in intimate contact therewith.

    Abstract: A door handle providing a superior visibility from both front and rear directions of a vehicle is provided. The door handle includes: an operating portion that bulges from a door outer surface, defining a space between the door outer surface and the operating portion, allowing a user to insert his or her hand into the space; a fixation portion arranged adjacent to the operating portion, including a lens as a translucent member; an outer surface provided in the lens, the outer surface having such a region that a vehicle rear side of the region is positioned outward as compared to a vehicle front side thereof; and a lighting body serving as a direction indicator allowing a transmissive illumination to be made from the inner surface side of the lens. Thus, the lens can be made visible not only from the vehicular lateral side but from the vehicular front side.

    Abstract: In a mounting structure of an exterior part, a molding has a recess capable of being fitted to an outer periphery of the exterior part, as seen in a cross-sectional view. The outer periphery includes a recessed corner portion at which two sides of the outer periphery cross each other. One of the two sides constituting the recessed corner portion includes a protrusion capable of being fitted into the recess of the molding.     Abstract: A rear gate arranged at a rear end of a cargo bed of a truck includes: a support frame arranged at the rear end of the cargo bed and extending along a vehicle width direction; a pair of first and second gate frame bodies arranged at both ends in the vehicle width direction of the support frame; and a first divided gate and a second divided gate supported openably from the first and second gate frame bodies. The rear gate includes a pair of first and second opening/closing switching units configured to switch an opened/closed state of the rear gate. Operation levers of the first and second opening/closing switching units are operated to switch among a vertical opening state, a horizontal opening state, and a locked state restricting from the vertical opening and the horizontal opening.
