摘要: Skin for dressing backlit vehicle interior parts comprising a perforated opaque decorative layer and a light transmitting material filling the holes wherein the light transmitting material is a reactive hotmelt adhesive which forms a base layer extended over the back side of the opaque decorative layer and comprising a central portion and a transition portion surrounding the central portion and several projections protruding from the central portion of the base layer and completely filling the through holes. Method and an installation for manufacturing said skin for dressing backlit vehicle interior parts.

摘要: A vehicle interior lighting assembly includes a housing configured to contain lighting components, a lens through which light may be projected from the housing, and a light source including a flexible sheet including one or more light emitting diodes (LEDs). The flexible sheet includes a first, larger portion disposed at a first orientation at an oblique angle with respect to the lens, and a second, smaller portion disposed at a second orientation that is substantially aligned with the lens. At least one of the one or more LEDs is disposed on the second, smaller portion of the flexible sheet.

摘要: A seamless lighting arrangement for a vehicle panel. The vehicle panel has an inside surface and an outside surface. The vehicle panel has a light aperture extending from the inside surface of the vehicle panel to the outside surface of the vehicle panel. Connected to the inside surface of the vehicle panel is a bracket. The seamless lighting arrangement further includes a lens with a bracket connection portion that connects to the bracket and a transmission portion positioned within the light aperture of the vehicle panel. The lens further includes a light unit fixedly connected to the lens. The light unit has a projector port for emitting light from a light source. The light transmission portion of the lens has a light input surface region formed on an inside surface of the lens and a light output surface region formed on an outside surface of the lens.

The vehicle interior trim part further comprises a reflective layer that is adjacent to the woven material and comprises a fleece material and that is configured to reflect light emitted by the at least two parallel optical fibers. The vehicle interior trim part additionally has a carrier that is adjacent to the reflective layer so that the reflective layer is located between the woven material and the carrier and having at least one light source that is optically connected to at least one of the at least two parallel optical fibers.

摘要: A vehicle interior lighting device includes a light source which is installed at an end of an instrument panel of a vehicle. Light emitted from the light source propagates from the instrument panel toward a door panel, and is projected on a surface of a door trim of the door panel. A decorative pattern element is installed on a light emitting side of the light source. As light from the light source passes through the decorative pattern element, the light can create a pattern on a surface of the door trim. Because the light source is installed on the instrument panel spaced from the door trim rather than on the door trim itself, light can be projected on a large area of the door trim. Furthermore, an impressive feature of a decorative pattern which changes in accordance with a door opening angle can be achieved.
