Abstract: Systems, procedures, and instrumentalities are disclosed for synchronizing a signal burst, signal design, and/or system frame acquisition. A synchronization signal (SS) block or burst may be received. The SS block or burst may include a primary synchronization signal (PSS), a secondary synchronization signal (SSS), and/or a Physical Broadcast Channel (PBCH). A first cell ID may be determined and/or a plurality of SSS sequences may be generated. An m0 value (e.g., a first cyclic shift) may be determined from a set of m0 values, for example, based on the generated plurality of SSS sequences. An n1 value (e.g., a second cyclic shift) may be determined from a set of n1 values. A second cell ID may be determined, for example, based on the m0 value and the n1 value. A third cell ID may be determined, for example, based on the second cell ID and the first cell ID.

Abstract: Methods and systems for transmitting uplink control information in an LTE Advanced system are disclosed. A user device may determine whether uplink control information and/or available channels meet certain criteria and determine whether the uplink control information should be transmitted on a physical uplink control channel, a physical uplink shared channel, or both, based on the criteria. Criteria may include the size of the uplink control information (absolute size or relative to space available on a channel or a threshold value), the type of control information bits, the number of available (i.e., active or configured) component carriers, and the amount of power that may be required to transmit the uplink control information on more than one channel.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for addressing timing advance (TA) in non-terrestrial network communication is disclosed herein. A wireless transmit and receive unit (WTRU) may receive system information from a base station attached to an airborne or spaceborne vehicle that indicates a physical random access channel (PRACH) resource. The WTRU may determine a timing offset based on a plurality of information, such as the location information and the system information. The WTRU may transmit a preamble using the timing offset via the PRACH resource. The base station may receive the preamble and send a random access response (RAR) that includes, for example, a TA command. The WTRU may receive the RAR including the TA command and combine the timing offset with the TA command to determine an actual TA, after which the WTRU may use the actual TA for uplink transmissions.

Abstract: A method performed by a STA may comprise receiving, from an access point, a RTS frame having a duration field and transmitting, to the AP, in response to receiving the RTS frame, a CTS frame. The method may further comprise receiving, from the AP, data of a MU data unit addressed to the STA and another STA and, in response, transmitting an ACK frame, to the AP. The data may be received by the STA on a subset of sub-carrier frequencies of which the MU data unit spans and the MU data unit and the ACK frame may be transmitted within a duration indicated by the duration field.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described herein for multiple access schemes for Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) with full-duplex radios. For example, an access point (AP), in response to receiving a request to send (RTS) from a first station (STA), may transmit a full-duplex clear to send (FD CTS) to the first STA and a full-duplex request to send (FD RTS) to a second STA. In response to transmitting the FD RTS to the second STA, the AP may receive a clear to send (CTS) from the second STA. The AP may transmit, to both the first STA and the second STA, a FD trigger frame that includes scheduling information to enables FD communication with the first STA for uplink (UL) data and the second STA for downlink (DL) data at a same time. The scheduling information may include timing information and channel information for the FD communication.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for Sidelink (SL) communication are disclosed herein. A method for SL communication performed by a Wireless Transmit/Receive Unit (WTRU) may include receiving a plurality of resources over a Physical Sidelink Control Channel (PSCCH) in a slot. In addition, the method may include determining the plurality of resources in the slot are control information resources and determining a control information resource type associated with the control information resources. The method may include determining a priority of the control information resource type based on a configuration relating priorities to control resource information types. The method may also include determining a Quality of Service (QoS) of the transport block (TB) associated with the control information resource type. Moreover, the method may include decoding the PSCCH according to the determined priority of the control information resource type.

Abstract: A wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) may be configured to monitor physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates of a primary cell (PCell) and a secondary cell (SCell). The WTRU may be configured to determine a time duration for PDCCH candidate budgets for a set of symbols based on a subcarrier spacing associated with the PCell and a subcarrier spacing associated with the SCell. The WTRU may be configured to determine a maximum number of PDCCH candidates to allocate to a search space monitoring occasion of the PCell and the SCell. The maximum number of PDCCH candidates may be based on a per-cell ratio. The WTRU may be configured to allocate PDCCH candidates for the search space monitoring occasion of the PCell and the search space monitoring occasion of the SCell based on the determined maximum number of PDCCH candidates. The WTRU may be configured to decode an allocated PDCCH candidate.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described herein for providing a single-bit hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback and a multi-bit HARQ feedback in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU). For example, a WTRU may receive, via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), downlink control information (DCI). The DCI may include a field that indicates a code block group (CBG) based retransmission for at least one transport block (TB). On a condition that the DCI does not include the field, the WTRU may transmit, via a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), a single-bit HARQ feedback for a TB-based retransmission. On a condition that the DCI includes the field, the WTRU may transmit, via the PUCCH, the multi-bit HARQ feedback for the CBG-based retransmission. The WTRU may be configured to provide the single-bit HARQ feedback for the TB-based retransmission and a multi-bit HARQ feedback for the CBG-based retransmission.
