The chip-type coil component includes: a body; conductive patterns connected to each other so as to have a coil structure; and external electrodes formed on the bottom surface and the two surfaces in the length direction; wherein a height of the external electrodes in a thickness direction of the body is greater than a height from the bottom surface to a farthest conductive pattern therefrom among the conductive patterns and is less than a height from the bottom surface of the body to the top surface thereof. According to embodiments of the present invention, even in a case in which a chip-type coil component set contacts a metal can, interference such as short-circuits does not occur, and as a result, a chip-type coil component having excellent reliability can be acquired.

In phase locked loop, a phase detector detects a phase difference between a first clock signal and a second clock signal and output a first output signal based on the detected difference. A charge pump generates a control voltage in response to the first output signal from the phase detector. A voltage-controlled oscillator generates the second clock signal. A controller controls the control voltage such that the phase difference between the first clock signal and the second clock signal is increased in response to a burn-in test mode signal.

The apparatus for determining characteristics of a signal includes: a level detector receiving sample values of a radio frequency (RF) signal and binary data obtained by binarizing the RF signal, generating selection signals based on the binary data, classifying each of the sample values of the RF signal into one of a plurality of levels using the selection signals, and outputting average values of sample values of each level; and a signal characteristics determiner determining a characteristics value that indicates the characteristics of the RF signal using the average values of the sample values belonging to each level.
