Abstract:
Because the back-and-forth movement by hand is slower and more strenuous than the leftward-and-rightward swinging, a handheld image-tracking device, which can be applied to an optical mouse or a handheld scanner, uses a rectangle-shaped sensing array to save area of the sensing array and lower down the production cost for the device by reasonably reducing the back-and-forth sensing area for the sensing array; and, so, an amount and time spent for a data comparison in the device is lessened.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a security inspection door comprising a narcotic drug/explosive detecting subsystem, a radioactive substance detecting subsystem and a metal detecting subsystem which are provided in a tank body, wherein electromagnetic radiation shields are respectively provided around the three detecting subsystems, so that the narcotic drug/explosive detecting subsystem, the radioactive substance detecting subsystem and the metal detecting subsystem are isolated from one another and are not interfered with one another. In the present invention, the narcotic drug/explosive detecting subsystem, the radioactive substance detecting subsystem and the metal detecting subsystem are combined together for the first time to form a novel security inspection door, so the narcotic drugs/the explosives, the radioactive substances and the dangerous metal articles can be detected at the same time. Further, in the present invention, electromagnetic radiation shields are respectively provided around the three detecting subsystems, so that the three detecting subsystems are isolated from one another and are not interfered with one another, and thus, the inspection reliability and the inspection accuracy are improved.
Abstract:
By exposing a process control wafer having a porous low-k-dielectric layer thereon in an HF-based low-k dielectric etching solvent comprising a dilating additive and a passivating additive, the pores in the low-k dielectric layer are dilated some of which connect with one another to form one or more continuous channels extending through the thickness of the dielectric layer and allowing the HF-based solvent to reach down to the substrate. Then the passivating additive component of the HF-based etching solvent forms a passivation layer at the dielectric layer and the substrate interface that protects substrate from the HF-based etchant.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and system of material identification using binocular steroscopic and multi-energy transmission image. With the method, any obstacle that dominates the ray absorption can be peeled off from the objects that overlap in the direction of a ray beam. The object that is unobvious due to a relatively small amount of ray absorption will thus stand out, and the material property of the object, such as organic, mixture, metal and the like can be identified. This method lays a fundament for automatic identification of harmful objects, such as explosive, drugs, etc., concealed in a freight container.

Abstract:
In a binocular steroscopic scanning radiographic imaging method, X-rays emitted by the same radiation source are used. The X-rays pass through a double-slit collimator to form two X-ray beam sectors, which are symmetric or asymmetric and have an angle between them. The X-ray beam sectors, after penetrating through an object under detection, are received by the left and right detector array, respectively, then converted into electric signals to be inputted to the respective image acquisition systems, and received by a computer processing system for image processing and displaying. A system corresponding to the method comprises a radiation source, a beam controller, two mutually connected arms of detector arrays, image acquisition systems connected respectively to each of the detector arrays and a computer processing system. The present invention can display the transmission images detected by each of the detector arrays as well as tomograms with different depth reconstructed from the transmission images according to the principle of parallax. The present invention is convenient, fast in detection and realizes with low cost the recognition of objects of different depths.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for driving the light source of a projector are provided. The apparatus includes an adjustment unit, a lamp driver, a phase lock loop (PLL) and a mercury lamp. The adjustment unit provides an enabling signal and regulates the frequency of the enabling signal according to an indication signal. The lamp driver provides a driving signal according to the enabling signal and an input voltage, wherein the frequency of the driving signal is varied with the frequency of the enabling signal. The PLL provides a synchronized driving signal according to the driving signal and a vertical synchronization signal, wherein the synchronized driving signal is phase-synchronous with the frame field of the projector. The mercury lamp serves as the light source of the projector according to the synchronized driving signal.
Abstract:
By understanding a website author's intention through an analysis of the function of a website, website content can be adapted for presentation or rendering in a manner that more closely appreciates and respects the function behind the website. A website's function is analyzed so that its content can be adapted to different client environments. A function-based object model (FOM) identifies objects associated with a website, and analyzes those objects in terms of their functions. Desktop oriented websites are adapted for mobile devices based on the FOM and on a mobile control intermediary language. While the FOM attempts to understand a website author's intention based on functional analysis of web content, the mobile control intermediary language enables the author to create web content that can be presented in various mobile devices by processing the objects, by extracting forms from the objects, and by generating a file in the mobile control intermediary language for each form.
Abstract:
A signal transmission cable adapted to pass through a hinge assembly includes a flexible circuit substrate; a first connection section formed at a first end of the flexible circuit substrate and having a plurality of signal transmission lines provided thereon; a second connection section formed at a second end of the flexible circuit substrate and having a plurality of signal transmission lines provided thereon; and a cluster section formed on the flexible circuit substrate between the first and the second connection section, and having a plurality of signal transmission lines provided thereon to connect at two ends to the signal transmission lines on the first and the second connection section, respectively. The cluster section includes a plurality of clustered flat cables, which are formed by cutting the flexible circuit substrate along a plurality of paralleled cutting lines extended in the lengthwise direction of the flexible circuit substrate.
