    摘要: The present invention provides an optical recording method, optical recording apparatus, optical reading method, and optical reading apparatus which are capable of high density recording an d high speed recording, and high speed reading. In recording, a recording light comprising a plurality of polarization distributions corresponding to the data information; is generated, and irradiated onto an optical recording medium to thereby record a plurality of polarization distributions of the recording light on the optical recording medium as photo-induced birefringence. In reading, a reading light having a uniform polarization distribution is irradiated onto the recording medium in which the data information has been recorded previously, and the polarization distribution of the transmitted light or reflected light in the optical recording medium is read as the polarization distribution of the reproducing light.

    摘要: Provided is a measuring apparatus that includes: a semiconductor laser device that emits a laser light beam to an object to be measured; a driving unit that provides a driving signal for modulation drive of the semiconductor laser device; a first detection unit that detects a first electrical signal that corresponds to the intensity of the laser light beam modulated due to the self-coupling effect, in a first half-cycle of the driving signal; a second detection unit that detects a second electrical signal that corresponds to the intensity of a second laser light beam modulated due to the self-coupling effect, in a second half-cycle of the driving signal being in an opposite phase of the first half-cycle; a calculation unit that calculates a difference between the first and second electrical signals; and a measuring unit that measures a change in the state of the object based on the calculated difference.

    摘要: An optical reproducing method. A diffracted light is generated by irradiating a reference light onto a hologram. A combined light is generated by applying a direct-current component formed by a polarized light having a third polarization component with a first polarization plane having a polarization direction orthogonal to the diffracted light and having the same phase as the diffracted light, and a fourth polarization component with a second polarization plane having an opposite phase to the diffracted light, onto the diffracted light. The combined light is separated into a fifth polarization component including a first polarization component and the third polarization component, and a sixth polarization component including a second polarization component and the fourth polarization component. A first reproduced image is reproduced from the separated fifth polarization component, and a second reproduced image is reproduced from the separated sixth polarization component.
