Abstract: A scan-type display apparatus includes a light emitting module, a display module, a control module and a driver module. The light emitting module includes an LED array having a common cathode configuration. The control module generates a synchronization control (SC) signal. The driver module generates a plurality of switching signals and an image refresh signal based on the SC signal. The switching signals cause the LED array to emit light in a line scan manner. The image refresh signal is related to one of the switching signals that corresponds to a last line of the line scan in each line scan cycle, and is further related to refreshing of images on a display constituted by the light emitting module and the display module.

Abstract: An under-display sensing device includes a liquid crystal display (LCD) module which includes an LCD unit, an optical filter unit and an optical sensing unit. Abstract: A method for sensing a biometric object using an electronic device includes the steps of: (a) emitting a sensing light from a backlight unit upon the biometric object contacting a sensing region on a display surface, and allowing the sensing light to pass through a color filter unit and then reach and be reflected by the biometric object to return as a reflected light; and (b) controlling arrangement of liquid crystal molecules located in a first region of a liquid crystal layer to define a first light path, and allowing the reflected light having predetermined wavelengths to pass through the color filter unit and the first light path to reach and be detected by the optical sensing unit.

A thickness of the first light-shielding patterns is greater than or substantially equal to a thickness of the second light-shielding patterns.

Abstract: A Light Emitting Diode (LED) packaging structure comprises an LED die, a package body, and an optical element. The package body wraps the LED die, and the optical element is disposed on the package body. A light beam emitted by the LED die passes through the optical element and is split into a plurality of sub-light beams, and each of sub-light beams is individually projected onto an image plane corresponding to the optical element. Therefore, the LED packaging structure is applied to an LED stereoscopic display device, so that left eye and right eye of a viewer may respectively receive light beams emitted by different LED dies, so as to view a stereoscopic image, thereby solving a problem of a conventional stereoscopic display device that the stereoscopic image may be viewed in only a single viewable area.
