摘要： A geomagnetic sensor for auto-calibration of a deviation and a method of using the geomagnetic sensor. The geomagnetic sensor includes a geomagnetic detector including X-axis and Y-axis fluxgates orthogonal to each other and receiving a drive signal to detect an electromotive force corresponding to a geomagnetism, a signal processor converting the electromotive force output from the geomagnetic detector into X-axis and Y-axis output values and outputting the X-axis and Y-axis output values, and a drive signal generator applying the drive signal to the geomagnetic detector. Each of the X-axis and Y-axis fluxgates includes cores, a solenoid type exciting coil, and at least two detection coils winding around the cores in a solenoid form. Accordingly, as an azimuth is measured using output values detected by the separated detection coil, the azimuth can be exactly and easily detected regardless of an external magnetic field.

摘要： A method of generating a help file used commonly in different models of image forming apparatuses includes reading a setting value indicating a function provided by one of the image forming apparatuses, setting a field value of a parameter corresponding to the read setting value, and configuring a help message based on the set field value of the parameter. A system to generate a help message includes a configuration module to determine identification information regarding each of a plurality of functions of an object included in one of software versions and characteristic data regarding the software version, and a universal help file including function descriptions for all of the software versions provided in a computer, receiving the identification information and the characteristic data, and generating the help message regarding the object using the function descriptions according to the identification information and the characteristic data. The function descriptions include a section filled with the characteristic data.

摘要： A method of determining a time to replace developing solutions in a printer includes providing a reference card including sample patches of standard colors for predetermined colors of the developing solutions, sample patches of test colors into which the standard colors change due to contamination, and standard color differences &Dgr;E* calculated from standard color values Es* corresponding to the respective standard colors and measured standard contamination values Ec* corresponding to the respective test colors; inputting information about test patches for the predetermined colors into the printer and printing the test patches; and comparing the sample patches with the test patches to determine whether to replace the developing solutions. Since the reference card is provided together with a printer including information about test patches, a user can easily determine a time to replace a developing solution.

摘要： There is provided a PLC module formed by depositing the core as an optical signal transmission medium and the clad surrounding the core on a semiconductor substrate, wherein a heating line is attached to the lower surface of the PLC and generates heat to the PLC from externally received power. An insulation layer is coated on the lower surface of the PLC with the heating line fixed thereto. Therefore, the direct attachment of the heating line to the lower surface of the PLC minimizes heat loss.
