摘要: The present invention addresses the problem of identifying a biomarker of renal failure, said biomarker being available from urine or blood, and fluctuating from an early stage than glomerular filtration rate and serum creatinine level, and thus developing a technique for diagnosing early stage kidney failure. A method for analyzing the blood, plasma, serum or urine of a renal failure suspected subject comprises a step of measuring the concentration of a pair of D-form and L-form of at least one amino acid selected from the amino acid group consisting of [D-serine] and [L-serine], etc., contained in the blood, plasma, serum or urine of the subject, and calculating, as an pathological index of the subject, the ratio of the D-form concentration to the L-form concentration or the percentage of the D-form concentration relative to the total concentration of the D-form and L-form.

摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a blood sample analysis method for determining diabetes complications in subjects with kidney damage on the basis of D- and L-amino acid content, from a blood sample; a method for examining diabetes complications; and a sample analysis system that outputs pathological information about diabetes complications. The purpose of this invention is achieved by using at least one amino acid selected from the group consisting of D-aspartic acid, D-proline, L-glutamine, and L-isoleucine, in order to determine diabetes complications.

摘要: Provided is an objective and convenient index for judging full recovery from atopic dermatitis and severity thereof. The present invention provides a diagnosis assisting method for determining a treatment policy for an atopic dermatitis subject under the treatment, said method comprising: measuring the expression value of SCCA-1 in skin horny cells of the subject; i) when the SCCA-1 expression value is not statistically significantly higher than the level of those who do not suffer from atopic dermatitis, then determining that the continuation of the treatment for the disease becomes unnecessary thanks to the treatment; and, in the case where the continuation of the treatment is determined as still necessary, ii) ranking the severity of atopic dermatitis of the subject using the SCCA-1 expression value as an index and determining an adequate treatment method for atopic dermatitis to be given to the subject depending on the rank.

摘要: A sprayable sunscreen cosmetic contains substantially no ultraviolet ray scattering agents which cause whiteness, and which is transparent immediately after being applied/sprayed, and that has excellent ultraviolet ray protection effect and a good sensation in use. The ultraviolet ray protection effect is not reduced, and the effects improve when in contact with water. A water-in-oil emulsified sunscreen cosmetic comprises: (A) 6 to 40 mass % of an ultraviolet ray absorbing agent; (B) an organically modified clay mineral; (C) an oil phase thickener other than the aforementioned (B); (D) a silicone-based surfactant having an HLB of less than 8; (E) a spherical resin powder; and (F) a volatile silicone oil; wherein a ratio defined as [total amount of ingredient (B) and ingredient (C)]/[total amount of (G) non-volatile liquid oils other than silicone oils] is at least 0.04 and less than 0.68.
