A method for transmitting data from a network to a user equipment in a wireless communication system is provided. The network adds an error detection code, generated using a first identifier allocated to the user equipment, to scheduling information for data to be transmitted to the user equipment and transmits the scheduling information to which the error detection code has been added to the user equipment. The network also adds an error detection code, generated using a second identifier allocated to the user equipment, to the data to be transmitted to the user equipment and transmits the data to which the error detection code has been added to the user equipment.

The present invention relates to a wireless communication system and UE providing wireless communication services, and a method of transmitting and receiving data between a terminal and a base station in an evolved Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) that has evolved from a Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS), a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system, or a LTE-A (LTE-Advanced) system, and more particularly, to a method of releasing an access restriction at high interference cell, such that an effect of the interference can be minimized.

In a wireless mobile communications system, a method of transmitting and receiving radio access information that allows a faster and an efficient way of establishing a radio connection between a terminal and a target base station while performing a handover for the terminal to a cell of the target base station. The network transmits in advance, the radio access information and the like, to the terminal so that the terminal can be connected with the target cell in a faster manner which minimizes the total time for the handover process.

The present invention relates to a method for limiting measurement reports by limiting objects of measurement and evaluation for a measurement report, and user equipment therefore. The method for limiting measurement reports by user equipment in a mobile communication system according to the present invention comprises: receiving a cell list that includes information about at least one cell; receiving a measurement setup message that includes a measurement limiting command for limiting objects of measurement and evaluation to the at least one cell included in the cell list; measuring the quality of signals that are received from neighbor cells; performing the measurement and evaluation on the basis of the signal quality having been measured to determine whether the quality measurement should be reported; and transmitting a measurement report message that includes the information about measurement reports generated in accordance with the measurement and evaluation, wherein, in the measurement and evaluation step, whether the measurement should be reported is evaluated only for a received signal from the at least one cell included in the cell list.

A method of receiving control information for an uplink in a network includes receiving, by at least one Medium Access Control (MAC) sub-layer in the network, a MAC-e Protocol Data Unit (PDU) from a User Equipment (UE) via an Enhanced Dedicated Channel (E-DCH) which is an uplink transport channel handled by the at least one MAC sub-layer; and acquiring the control information from the received MAC-e PDU, the control information indicating an amount of resources required by the UE. A first format of the MAC-e PDU is received when the control information is included with other information in the MAC-e PDU and a second format of the MAC-e PDU is received when only the control information is included in the MAC-e PDU. The first format of the MAC-e PDU includes a first indicator having a first specific value to indicate that the MAC-e PDU includes the control information.

A method of transmitting a data block in a wireless communication system includes generating a data block having a variable size in an upper layer, transmitting a radio resource request message to a base station according to the size of the data block in a medium access control (MAC) layer and transmitting the data block by using a radio resource allocated by using the radio resource request message. For a packet service such as VoIP in which a delay time is important, QoS can be improved by decreasing the delay time of packet transmission and by decreasing a packet discard ratio.
