Abstract:
An earmuff which is adapted to covering a driver includes a first case having a first through hole and a second case having a second through hole. The second case accommodated within the first case to form an inner chamber where the driver is disposed therein. Since air flows between the first case and the second case via the first through hole and the second through hole, a satisfactory ventilation effect can be achieved and thus feeling of being at ease can be furnished.
Abstract:
A computer enclosure includes a computer case and a power supply tray. The computer case includes a side plate and a rear plate adjacent to the side plate. A clamping portion is located on the rear plate, and an opening is defined between the side plate and the rear plate. The power supply tray is attached to the opening and includes a clipping member. The clipping member includes a securing portion extending from the power supply tray and a clipping portion rotatably attached to the securing portion. The clipping portion is engaged with the clamping portion to secure the power supply tray to the computer case, and the clipping portion is rotatable relative to the rear plate to disengage the clipping portion from the clamping portion.
Abstract:
In one embodiment, a method of modifying a surface of a membrane includes exposing the surface to an impinging atmospheric pressure plasma source to produce an activated surface, and exposing the activated surface to a solution including a vinyl monomer. In another embodiment, a method of manufacturing a desalination membrane includes treating a surface of the membrane with an impinging atmospheric plasma source for an optimal period of time and rf power, and exposing the surface to an aqueous solution containing a vinyl monomer. In another embodiment, an apparatus includes a membrane having a surface, and polymer chains terminally grafted onto the surface of the membrane.
Abstract:
A drop test device for testing a corner portion of a work piece, includes a bottom board, a support pillar, and a hanging mechanism. The support pillar is mounted on the bottom board. The hanging mechanism is mounted on the support pillar and is located above the bottom board. The hanging mechanism includes a support member. The support member includes a triangle base. Angles and sides of the triangle base hold the work piece thereon to have a corner of the work piece directed towards the bottom board.
Abstract:
The disclosure provides a method for treating hepatitis B, including: administering an effective amount of proanthocyanidins wherein the formula of a monomer of the proanthocyanidins is shown as Formula (I): wherein R1 is OCH3, R2 is OH and R3 is H, or R1 is OH and R2 and R3 both are H, or R1 and R2 both are OH and R3 is H, or R1, R2 and R3 all are OH, and R4 is 3-(α)-OH, 3-(β)-OH, 3-(α)-O-sugar or 3-(β)-O-sugar. Bonding between adjacent monomers take place at C4, C8 Carbon-carbon bond or C2, C7 oxygen bond of A type or C4, C8 or C4, C6 Carbon-carbon bond of B type or C type of proanthocyanidins. And the polymerized number is from 2 to 30.
Abstract:
A method for making a conductive polymer composite for detecting a gas includes forming a porous conductive layer of a conductive powder on a substrate, applying a polymer solution containing a solvent and a gas responsive polymer material dissolved in the solvent to the porous conductive layer such that a portion of the polymer solution penetrates into the porous conductive layer and the remainder of the polymer solution forms a thin film covering a top of the porous conductive layer, the gas responsive polymer material being capable of adsorbing and desorbing the gas, and removing the solvent from the polymer solution so as to form a polymer matrix covering the porous conductive layer.
Abstract:
An exemplary surface mount machine nozzle includes a mounting element, a pneumatic suction nozzle and a fixing pin. The mounting element defines one of a pivot hole and an elongated perforation in a sidewall thereof. The pneumatic suction nozzle defines another one of the pivot hole and the elongated perforation therein. The fixing pin horizontally extends through the pivot hole and the perforation for connecting the mounting element and the pneumatic suction nozzle together. The fixing pin is slidable along the elongated perforation such that the pneumatic suction nozzle is telescopically slidable relative to the mounting element.
Abstract:
An electrostatic discharge (ESD) clamp circuit is provided, which includes a plurality of identical module circuits. The anode of the first module circuit is coupled to the cathode of the ESD clamp circuit. The anode of each of the other module circuits is coupled to the cathode of the previous module circuit. The cathode of the last module circuit is coupled to the ground terminal of the ESD clamp circuit. Each module circuit includes a conduction path and a detection circuit. The detection circuit is coupled to the anode, the cathode and the conduction path of the module circuit. When the rising speed of the voltage at the anode of the module circuit surpasses a threshold value, the detection circuit makes the conduction path conducting.
Abstract:
A method for forming a material layer with an anti-reflective layer as the top surface. The method comprises steps of providing a material layer and performing an ion implantation process to change a plurality of physical properties of a portion of the material layer near a top surface of the material layer so as to covert the portion of the material layer into an anti-reflective layer.
Abstract:
A laser rangefinder of the present invention is utilized for detecting and displaying the distance user interests in. The laser rangefinder has a range detector and an angle detector. Thus, the laser rangefinder is able to detecting a distance between an object and the laser rangefinder and an oblique angle thereof. The laser rangefinder further has a micro processor which provides a horizontal distance according to the distance and the angle detected above. As such, the laser rangefinder can show up with the horizontal distance between the object and the laser rangefinder without disturbance of oblique thereof.
