Abstract:
Methods and apparatuses for handling sensing for a sidelink source in a wireless communication system are disclosed herein. In one method, a User Equipment (UE) receives a control signaling which schedules a resource of a first transmission, in which the control signaling informs and/or indicates that the scheduled resource is not kept for a next transmission. The UE performs energy sensing for candidate resources, in which one or more resources associated with the scheduled resource of the first transmission is not utilized for energy sensing.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a User Equipment (UE). In one embodiment, the method includes the UE performing a first device-to-device (D2D) transmission based on a periodic resource. The method further includes the UE performs a second D2D transmission based on the periodic resource in response to no data available for the second D2D transmission, wherein the second D2D transmission indicates release of the periodic resource. The method also includes the UE stops using the periodic resource to perform a third D2D transmission.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus are disclosed, from the perspective of the UE, for performing random access procedure. In one embodiment, the method includes the UE receives a first back-off information from the network in a broadcast message, wherein the first back-off information includes a start offset of back-off interval. The method further includes the UE transmits a first preamble to the network. In addition, the method includes the UE determines a back-off interval based on the first back-off information and a second back-off information, wherein the second back-off information is received when the UE monitors a response for the first preamble. The method also includes the UE transmits a second preamble to the network after the back-off interval is finished.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a UE, wherein the UE is allocated with multiple SR configurations by a network node. In one embodiment, the method includes the UE triggering a MAC control element if a timer expires. The method also includes the UE triggering a SR for the MAC control element. The method also includes the UE transmitting the SR based on a first SR configuration of the multiple SR configurations, wherein the first SR configuration is associated with a highest priority logical channel having data available for transmission when the MAC control element is triggered.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a UE (User Equipment). In one embodiment, the method includes having at least a first uplink resource and a second uplink resource, wherein the first uplink resource and the second uplink resource collides in a time domain. The method further includes prioritizing the first uplink resource according to a first method. The method also includes performing an uplink transmission on the first uplink resource.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a UE. In one embodiment, the method includes triggering a MAC control information, wherein the MAC control information is linked to a specific set of scheduling unit(s). The method further includes determining a transmission opportunity based on an uplink grant. The method also includes using the transmission opportunity to transmit a first packet that includes the MAC control information to a base station if the uplink grant belongs to the specific set of scheduling unit(s). In addition, the method includes using the transmission opportunity to transmit a second packet that does not include the MAC control information to the base station if the uplink grant does not belong to the specific set of scheduling unit(s).
Abstract:
A method and apparatus are disclosed for switching communication interface in a wireless communication system. In one embodiment, the method includes a UE using a first interface to transmit data for a service. The method also includes the UE receiving an information from a base station for indicating that the first interface is not allowed to transmit data for the service. The method further includes the UE transmitting a request to the base station for using a second interface in response to the reception of the information.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for supporting UE-to-Network relay based on device to device service in a wireless communication system. In one embodiment, the method includes that a first UE is configured with at least a first set of logical channel(s) and a second set of logical channel(s). The method further includes the first UE transmitting a transport block (TB) including at least a Medium Access Control (MAC) subheader, which is including at least a LCID field to set a specific value, and a MAC Service Data Unit (SDU) to a base station, wherein the MAC subheader is used to indicate a logical channel which is associated with the MAC SDU belonging to the first set of logical channel(s) or the second set of logical channel(s).
