    Abstract: Systems and methods of providing a management data analytics service are described. After receiving a request for a management data analytical KPI, the MDAS producer determines from which of network objects to collect the performance measurements to generate the management analytical data. The network objects include an NF, NSI, NSSI, subnetwork or the network. Performance data is collected for a past period and management analytical data generated based on the collected performance data. The KPI for a future period related to the past period is determined. The KPI is to predict uplink or downlink traffic volume or resource utilization associated with the network object.

    Abstract: A network management system can monitor and process raw measurements of network functions (NFs). The NFs are coupled to one another via service based interfaces in a 5G network core (5GC) of a 5G network system (5GS). A server producer generates performance measurements corresponding to the one or more NFs based on the raw measurements. The performance measurements are used to evaluate and optimize the performance related to network services enablement, mobility tracking and reachability with a user equipment (UE) or the gNB according to an Access Mobility Function (AMF) component, a Session Management Function (SMF) component, a Policy Control Function (PCF) component, a Network Exposure Function (NEF) component, or a Network Function Repository Function (NRF) component, as well as associated performance parameters or measurements disclosed.

    Abstract: Techniques for instantiation and termination of virtualized network functions are described. In one embodiment, for example, an apparatus may comprise processing circuitry and computer-readable storage media having stored thereon instructions for execution by the processing circuitry to identify, based on a first message received from an integration reference point manager (IRPManager), a virtualized network function (VNF) instance to be terminated, send a VNF termination request to a virtualized network functions manager (VNFM) to request termination of the VNF instance, determine a VNF instance termination result for the VNF termination request based on a notification received from the VNFM, and send a second message to the IRPManager, the second message to indicate the VNF instance termination result. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

    Abstract: Systems and methods of managing PNF connectivity are provided. A NM determines to add to or remove external connectivity from a PNF and transmits a NS update request to a NFVO that contains an identifier of the NS instance to be updated, an indication of a type of update operation requested, and information of the PNF connectivity to be changed. A NS update response contains a lifecycle operation occurrence identifier identifying a NS lifecycle operation occurrence. Separate NS lifecycle change notification from the NFVO indicate that a NS update to change the connectivity of the PNF has started and a result of the change. The notifications include the lifecycle operation occurrence identifier.
