摘要: An electrolytic treatment method for manufacturing a planographic printing plate support body assures uniform surface-roughening and a predetermined rough surface. Graphite electrodes and an auxiliary electrode are arranged and installed in different electrolytic cells. A current is supplied to the auxiliary electrode by controlling a phase angle of waveforms generated by a power source as symmetrical alternating waveforms. The quantity of electrical power to the auxiliary electrode is set in the range of 0.5% to 9% of the total electrode electric power quantity. In addition, the resistance value of a support roller of an aluminum web is set to 0.01 M&OHgr; or more and the frequency of the symmetrical alternating current waveform is set in the range of 50 Hz to 80 Hz. The current density of the main electrodes is set in the range of 5 A/dm2 to 50 A/dm2.

摘要: A recording apparatus that can implement an endless recording function and a prealert recording function for video and audio data using a single random access recording medium having excellent random accessibility will be provided. The recording apparatus includes: an input section 101 that receives data; a recording section 103 that has a random access recording medium and makes a data recording onto the random access recording medium; and a control section 104 that sequentially records data onto recording sectors by controlling data transfer between the input section and the recording section. By causing the control section to repetitively overwrite data to a recording area, the endless recording function can be implemented.

摘要: An apparatus for anodizing a support for a lithographic printing plate which comprises a backing roller which guides a web made of aluminum or an alloy thereof in a state of contacting the backing roller, (an) electrode(s) which is/are arranged along the peripheral surface of the backing roller in a concentric arc, an electric supplier which is provided at least on the upstream side or the downstream side of the backing roller, and an electrolyte solution which fills the clearance between the backing roller and the electrode, and an anodizing method using the same. By using the apparatus, the electric voltage loss can be reduced in electrolyte solution, and only a single surface of the supports is anodized without the necessity for providing any special means. Anodizing can be conducted at a high speed and the thickness of anodized layer easily increased. Moreover, thin supports can be anodized without fusion troubles.

摘要: A method of splicing together metal webs for use in planography with the ends thereof being butted or lapped against each other. In the metal web splicing method, the ends of the metal webs are spliced together in a butted manner, the spliced portion thereof is welded, and the welded spliced portion is rolled. According to the splicing method, there is no level difference in the welded spliced portion, which eliminates the possibility of the spliced metal webs being broken during the movement thereof and also has no adverse effect on the coating process for the spliced metal webs.
