Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide an information sending method, an information receiving method, and a related device. In the information sending method, a network device sends first signaling that carries first indication information, and the network device further sends second signaling that carries second indication information. The first indication information indicates a subset identifier corresponding to a first precoding subset in a first codebook. The first codebook includes a plurality of precoding subsets. Each precoding subset includes a plurality of precoding matrices, and different precoding subsets correspond to different subset identifiers. The second indication information indicates a matrix identifier corresponding to a first precoding matrix in the first precoding subset. Precoding matrices in the first precoding subset correspond to different matrix identifiers, and the first precoding matrix is used to precode a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) carried on a first subband.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communication method and a network device. The method includes: determining, by a network device, that a resource corresponding to at least one DMRS port of a plurality of DMRS ports of the network device is not used to transmit a DMRS in a first time segment; determining, by the network device, a first resource used to carry, in the first time segment, first data information to be sent to a terminal device, where the first resource includes the resource that is corresponding to the at least one DMRS port and that is not used to transmit the DMRS; sending, by the network device, indication information of the first resource to the terminal device; determining, by the terminal device based on the received indication information of the first resource, the first resource used to carry the first data information in the first time segment.

Abstract: This application provides a reference signal sending method, a reference signal receiving method, an apparatus, and a device, to provide a reference signal sending or receiving mechanism. A first network device determines at least one frequency reference point. The first network device generates a reference signal based on the at least one frequency reference point, and sends the reference signal in the first frequency band. A frequency reference point is determined based on a frequency band. In this case, both the first network device that sends the reference signal and a second network device that receives the reference signal may determine the frequency reference point based on the frequency band, and the two network devices may determine a same reference signal at a same frequency domain location, so that the reference signal sent by the first network device can be correctly detected by the second network device.

Abstract: In various embodiments, a first carrier and a second carrier occupying different frequencies can be determined by a terminal device. A working state on the first carrier and a working state on the second carrier can be determined by the terminal device as a first working state, and a second working state, respectively. The first working state indicates the terminal device is capable of sending a first signal including at least one of an uplink data signal and an uplink control signal, and the second working state indicates the terminal device is incapable of sending the first signal. First indication information can be received by the terminal device from a network device. Based on the first indication information, the terminal device can determine that the working state on the first carrier is the second working state, and the working state on the second carrier is the first working state.

Abstract: Example random access methods and apparatus are described. In one example method, a terminal device receives a system message that is sent by a network device on a first downlink carrier. The system message includes first information for performing random access on a first uplink carrier and second information for performing random access on a second uplink carrier. A frequency of the first uplink carrier is higher than a frequency of the second uplink carrier, and a frequency of the first downlink carrier is the same as the frequency of the first uplink carrier. The terminal device sends a random access request message on the first uplink carrier or on the second uplink carrier, and receives a random access response message that is sent by the network device on the first downlink carrier.
