    摘要： In an I/O card that can be inserted into a slot of an electronic device and supplied with electricity therefrom, a first connector can engage a connector provided in the slot of the electronic device. A second connector can engage an external connector of an interconnection cable used to connect the I/O card to an external device. A circuit notifies the electronic device that the I/O card has been loaded to the slot thereof when the external connector is connected to the second connector of the I/o card inserted into the slot. The I/O card receives a supply of electricity from the electronic device, the supply being started after the electronic device is notified by the circuit.

    摘要： The object of the present invention is to provide a process for preparing a drug-containing liposome composition in which (1) a drug to be included into liposomes, particularly a physiologically active protein having a molecular weight of from 500 to 100,000, can be prevented from decomposition and (2) a high rate of drug inclusion can be attained; (3) the resulting liposome composition can be subcutaneously or intramuscularly administered and (4) makes contribution to sustained release of the drug. The process comprises (1) dissolving a lipid in a first organic solvent, (2) adding a drug-containing aqueous solution to the lipid solution, followed by emulsifying to obtain an emulsion, (3) mixing the emulsion at a low temperature with a second organic solvent in which the lipid is sparingly soluble, (4) collecting the precipitated fraction, and (5) suspending the precipitated fraction in an aqueous solvent.

By controlling the intake air quantity passing through a bypass passage which bypasses a mixing device for mixing fuel and intake air at a predetermined ratio, controlling a sub-throttle valve provided in an intake passage in series with a main throttle valve, and controlling a supply quantity of auxiliary gas fuel so that a detected air-fuel ratio is constant, the engine output is increase/decrease controlled in spite of changes in load in accessory equipment, to give constant engine rotational speed and good operability of an auxiliary power take-off device.

    摘要： An optical measurement system for determination of a profile or thickness of an object includes first and second optical heads directing first and second light beams, respectively on first and second points on the surface of the object. Photo-sensors are included respectively in the first and second optical heads for receiving reflected lights from said first and second points and providing first and second outputs which varies in proportion to perpendicular distances from a reference plane to said first and second points on the object's surface. The first and second outputs are transmitted selectively to a single processing circuit through a switch. The processing circuit operates to process the first and second outputs in sequence to measure by triangulation the perpendicular distance of the first and second points from the reference plane and to analyze a surface or thickness of the object based upon thus measured perpendicular distances. With the use of the single processing circuit, the first and second outputs can be processed in the identical conditions to enable reliable determination of the perpendicular distances of the first and second points from the reference plane and therefore accurate analysis of the surface profile or the thickness of the object.
