    Abstract: A coin sorting device is disclosed having a coin sorting passage defined between a stationary side plate and a movable side plate openably connected at the upper side thereof to and spaced sidewardly from the stationary side plate, the coin sorting passage is provided with a track movable sidewardly to open the passage downwardly. There is at least one set of coin material detector coils including transmitting and receiving coils positioned in alignment with each other at the opposite sides of the coin sorting passage, respectively for detecting a load impedance of a coin running on the track. Both of the transmitting coils and the receiving coils are opposedly fixed in a stationary retainer fixed in predetermined position relative to the track. This track is adapted for retracting out of the coin sorting passage sidewardly to open the passage downwardly and is positioned in the predetermined position in the passage by a positioning device.

    Abstract: A scanning apparatus for cross-sectional inspection equipment comprising a rotatable disc supporting an X-ray source and a detector. The rotation of this disc is quickly braked as a coil spring provided on a speed accelerating and reducing means is compressed. The start of rotation of this disc rapidly gains the required rotation speed by the recovering force of the same compressed coil spring. A cable extending from various devices including the X-ray source and the detector provided on the rotatable disc is releasably wound around a hollow drum provided on this disc. The rotation force produced in the rotatable disc by this cable is off-set by a rotation force applied in an opposite direction to this disc.

    Abstract: A seat back of vehicle seat including: a seat back frame; a support wire element disposed in the seat back frame; a support plate attached to the support wire element such that an upper portion thereof projects upwardly from the support wire element; and a resilient reinforcing element provided to that upper portion of support wire element, thereby normally reinforcing such upper portion. The resilient reinforcing element has two upper end portions respectively slidably engaged with two brackets of the seat back frame and a main reinforcing portion which is resiliently extensible, while being resiliently deformable rearwardly of the seat back frame. Another resilient reinforcing element having a pair of reinforcing portions may be provided to a lower portion of the support wire element to normally reinforce such upper portion.
