Abstract:
A mobile terminal communication system is disclosed wherein, when communication interruption occurs, communication is re-started automatically without labor by a user to perform a call re-origination operation. If communication is interrupted by deterioration of a radio circuit condition between a fixed terminal and a mobile terminal, then an automatic call origination control section automatically originates a call to the fixed terminal and the mobile terminal based on subscriber number information stored in a subscriber number storage section of an exchange and information of a radio service area; in which the mobile terminal is present, stored in a position information database section. If a response is received from both of the fixed terminal and the mobile terminal, then communication is re-started.

A portable electronic device has a connector 42 for being connected to a master having a program executing function, microcomputer 41, which has a program memory 41a for storing a program, for controlling execution of the program, and a storage (not shown) for storing event occurrence, wherein an event that has been stored in the storage is transferred to the master in response to a request from the master.
Abstract:
By transmitting function information indicative of functions of a game machine manipulation device CT10, previously stored therein, to a game machine main body 27 with a command from the game machine main body 27, it is possible to retrieve functions of the game machine manipulation device CT10 required for the game machine main body 27 and to set the retrieved functions of the game machine manipulation device CT10 in the game machine manipulation device CT10. Further, by transmitting function information indicative of consumed power of respective response means 21, 51 of the game machine manipulation device CT10, which is previously stored in the game machine manipulation device CT10, to the game machine main body 27 with a command from the game machine main body 27, it is possible to determine response means 21, 51 required for the game machine main body 27 and a power value to be applied to the response means, and to set the determined information to the response means 21, 51 of the game machine manipulation device CT10.
Abstract:
When failure occurred to a part of the portable cellular phone base station, the part sends a failure information signal to a control section in order to inform the control section of the occurrence of the failure. The control section judges whether or not the portable cellular phone base station has lost its functions. If it is judged that the portable cellular phone base station has lost its functions, the control section sends a power supply interruption signal to a power supply of the portable cellular phone base station. When the power supply received the power supply interruption signal, relay circuits of the power supply are opened, and power supply from the power supply and a backup battery circuit to other parts of the portable cellular phone base station is interrupted, thereby wasteful power consumption (battery consumption) by the portable cellular phone base station after losing functions can be eliminated. The interruption of power supply can also be executed by sending a power supply interruption instruction signal from higher level equipment to the portable cellular phone base station, therefore, wasteful power consumption can easily be stopped without sending maintenance staffs to the place where the portable cellular phone base station has been installed.
Abstract:
A one-piece golf ball or a core of a multi-layered golf ball is formed from a rubber composition containing a base rubber component in the form of a modified rubber which is prepared by introducing an unsaturated carboxylate group into a polybutadiene rubber. The ball is satisfactorily durable and shows good flying performance.
Abstract:
Crystalline N-methoxymethylated nylon is useful to form a coating on a rubber substrate. It is prepared by adding acid to N-methoxymethylated nylon and heat treating the mixture for crystallization.
Abstract:
The method for detecting corresponding regions between a plurality of picture images comprises the steps of setting respective operation object regions for a plurality of picture images, calculating a variance of mutual concentration or density distributions in the operation object regions, and detecting the operation object regions which have been set in which the calculated variance value is at a minimum. The apparatus for detecting corresponding regions between picture images comprises a variance calculating member for calculating a variance of mutual concentration or density distributions in the operation object regions of a plurality of picture images, and a corresponding region detecting member for detecting a seat of regions where a variance value calculated by the variance calculating device is at a minimum.

Gamma-lactone derivatives represented by the formula (I) ##STR1## wherein when R.sup.1 is methyl group, R.sup.2 is hydrogen, hydroxyl group or trifluoroacetoxyl group and R.sup.2 may combine with R.sup.3 to form a pi bond; when R.sup.1 combines with R.sup.2 to form methylene group, R.sup.3 is hydrogen; R.sup.4 and R.sup.6 are hydrogen, respectively, or may combine to form a pi bond; R.sup.5 is hydrogen or a protecting group for hydroxyl group; R.sup.7 is hydrogen or straight-chain or branched alkyl group; and St is a steroid nucleus represented by the following formula (B): ##STR2## According to the process of the present invention, the introduction of carbon chains which form polyhydroxylated steroid side chains of brassinolides or the like into steroid nucleus is carried out in one-step with the control of stereochemistry of the contiguous four acyclic chiral centers.
Abstract:
An optical non-contact detection of profile errors of a surface or surfaces of an article, such as an industrial product is carried out by a coherent signal bea of light introduced along an imaginary plane and projected onto the surface of the article at a large angle of incidence. The signal beam of light is reflected from the surface toward the same imaginary plane and traveled past optical system toward a photosensitive material on which a separate reference beam of light is projected. A hologram of the surface is formed on the photosensitive material, which is used for an analysis of the profile errors of the surface.
Abstract:
A method of processing images taken by an endoscope having insertion section, bending section and operation section including a step of entering a first image of an object taken by the endoscope having the bending section situated in a first position, a step of entering a second image taken by the endoscope having the bending section situated in a second position, after moving the bending section into the second position by operating an operation member, the first image being partially overlapped with the second image, a step of detecting a positional relation between the first and second positions by detecting the movement of the bending section, a step of deriving a distance between corresponding points on the first and second images, a step of deriving three dimensional information of the object, and a step of displaying a three dimensional image of the object in accordance with the three dimensional information.
