摘要： A control information decoding section (102) decodes sets of control information contained in a stream. Further, a random access information analyzing section (101) carries out analysis of locations of random access points of media items contained in the stream, on the basis of the sets of control information. Still further, a management information generating section (103) generates management information for managing a plurality of random access points contained in the stream, on the basis of decoded versions of the sets of control information, which has been obtained by the control information decoding section (102), and the locations of the random access points obtained by the analysis performed by the random access information analyzing section (101). Then, the management information thus generated and the stream are recorded onto a storage medium (104). This makes it possible to quickly start playback in performing random-access playback of a stream into which control signals are inserted at regular intervals.

摘要： A disk sorter for DVDs, CDs or other disks includes a sorter frame. Plural sorting trays are contained in the sorter frame in a multi-level arrangement, respectively have a front tray end and a rear tray end, are inclined downwards toward the front tray end, for containing a disk on a side higher than the front tray end upon reception with the rear tray end. A movable chute structure is disposed behind the rear tray end, movable up or down, inclined downwards toward the rear tray end, for supplying one of the sorting trays with the disk by guiding to the rear tray end. A disk transfer device holds the disk, and places the disk on the chute structure, to transfer to the one sorting tray. Furthermore, a lifting device moves up or down the chute structure, and positions the chute end at the rear tray end.

A sub clip information generator of the sub clip processing unit generates sub clip information based on the meta data and supplies the generated sub clip information to a sub clip information registration unit. The sub clip information registration unit registers the sub clip information generated by there sub clip information generator in an edit list stored in an edit list memory.

In particular, the control system of the present invention provides a means of adjusting the angular positions of adjustable bottom sections of the bed to predetermined final positions via preset bottom coordinative action patterns carried out by a controller means. The preset bottom coordinative action patterns raise and lower adjustable back and knee bottom sections of the bed in a coordinated manner, so as to adjust the bottom sections of the bed to the chosen angular positions without causing the user to slide relative to the bed, and without exerting uncomfortable abdominal pressure on the user.

A scalable video stream decoding apparatus according to the present invention (i) receives a plurality of encoded-image stream generated by the scalable video stream generating apparatus according to the present invention, (ii) reorders, in order of decoding, encoded images included in at least one encoded-image stream extracted based on identifiers assigned to the plurality of encoded-image stream, and (iii) decodes the encoded images thus reordered. Thus, it is possible to provide a scalable video stream system having a simple arrangement.
