    Abstract: In some wireless communication scenarios, a radio environment map (e.g. a channel map) may be constructed that associates measurement results with locations. To assist in generating or maintaining the map, one or more user equipments (UEs) may need to generate measurement data and report it along with associated location information. In some embodiments, a method may include a UE generating the measurement data that associates a measurement with location information associated with the UE. The method may further include the UE transmitting the measurement data carrying the location information to a radio access network (RAN) device for use by the RAN.

    Abstract: This application provides example sidelink resource configuration methods and apparatuses. One example method includes receiving, by a first terminal, first configuration information of a sidelink resource, where the sidelink resource configured by using the first configuration information includes a common resource in resource pools or sidelink bandwidth part BWP resources of N terminals in a terminal group, the terminal group includes the first terminal, and N is a positive integer. The first terminal can then perform sidelink communication with a terminal in the terminal group on the sidelink resource.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communications method and apparatus, and relate to the field of communications technologies, to reduce power consumption of a terminal. The method includes: receiving information about one or more cell groups, where one cell group includes one first cell and at least one second cell; and for the cell group, determining carrier bandwidth part BWP switching or a deactivated state of the at least one second cell in the cell group based on BWP switching or a deactivated state of the first cell in the cell group.     Abstract: Example communication methods and a communications apparatus are described. One example method includes receiving first information by a terminal device, where the first information indicates an identifier of a first frequency domain resource, and the first frequency domain resource is contiguous in frequency domain. When a status of the terminal device is a first state, the terminal device with a network device on a second frequency domain resource based on the first information, where the second frequency domain resource includes a plurality of segments of contiguous frequency domain resources, and the first frequency domain resource is one segment of the plurality of segments of contiguous frequency domain resources. According to the foregoing method, the terminal device may communicate, based on the received first information, with the network device on the second frequency domain resource when the status of the terminal device is the first state.
