摘要： A method for manufacturing a rectangular cell is provided in which a rectangular case containing a power generating element is hermetically sealed by laser welding a sealing plate to an open end of the rectangular case. A sealing plate 2 formed into the same shape as the upper open end of a rectangular case 1 is laid on the upper open end, laser beams 3a to 3d are applied in a downward direction from the horizontal to a line of contact 4 comprising sides “a” to “d” including respective corners “e”, and the line of contact 4 is scanned with laser beams 3a to 3d thereby sealing the open end of the case with the sealing plate.

摘要： The present invention provides apparatus for detecting the integrated value of current flow, apparatus for detecting the value of current flow and a battery pack employing those apparatus each of which becomes insensitive to the offset in an operational amplifier. Each apparatus and the battery pack includes: a current sensor resistor inserted in series with a current path; an integrator; an input status selector; an integration capacitor connected to the integrator; and a connection-polarity inverter of the integration capacitor provided between the integrator and the integration capacitor. The input status selector switches alternately so as to provide two statuses of a status a and a status b at intervals of a predetermined time which are equal to one another, and in the status a, introduces therethrough the voltage which corresponds to the battery current value and which is developed across terminals of the current sensor resistor into an input of the integrator, while in the status b, inverts the polarity of the current sensor voltage developed across the terminals of the current sensor resistor to introduce therethrough the resultant voltage into the input of the integrator, or to introduce therethrough the voltage of zero to the input of the integrator.

摘要： An inverted strut damper includes an external cylinder which has an expanded midsection and a vertically moveable damper tube arranged concentrically within the outer cylinder. The outer cylinder and tube arrangement form a lubricating oil supply reservoir. Disposed at a top and a bottom of the outer cylinder is a respective oil seal and bearing arrangement. The upper bearing is adjacent to the lubricating oil reservoir and upon upper movement of the damper tube, oil is supplied to the upper bearings and seal.

摘要： A printer including an impact dot print head for driving a plurality of print wires mounted on the cantilevered end of print levers is provided. The print head includes a stopper positioned to be impacted by a print lever returning from a print position to an at rest position before a plunger on the lever impacts the magnetic core. A spring mounted on the lever biases it towards the print position. Magnetic flux of a permanent magnet attracts the plunger to the non-print position. An electromagnetic coil is energized to cancel the magnetic attraction of the plunger to the core to drive the wire towards the print position.

摘要： An optical recording/reproducing system comprising an optical pickup for recording and/or reproducing of data with respect to an optical recording medium. A reflection factor and a signal amplitude are obtained from the optical recording medium to be driven by the the recording/reproducing system. A reference level for detection of dirt deposition on the optical pickup is obtained on the basis of the reflection factor and signal amplitude information. The reference level for the dirt deposition is compared with a reproduction signal level obtained from the optical recording medium. A determination as to whether dirt is deposited or not is made on the basis of the comparison results.

摘要： An impact dot print head for printing without impact noise when returning to the non-printed position includes a base. An arm is mounted for movement between a non-print position and a print position. A print wire is mounted on the arm. A first device selectively drives the arm towards the print position by bias or magnetic force. A second device returns the arm to the non-print position and maintains the arm at that position without causing the arm to impact any member of the print head when returning to the print position. The second device uses balanced magnetic attraction or repulsion and/or bias forces to hold the arm out of contact with other parts of the printer other than at its point of mounting when at the non-print position.

The overall structure of the sensor is coated with a porous ceramic coating to which a catalyst is added.
