A black curable composition for forming a light-shielding color filter of solid-state imaging device is provided, which is capable of forming a pattern at low exposure dose even when containing a high concentration of an inorganic pigment, and preventing pattern defects. Also, a black curable composition for a wafer level lens is provided, which is capable of forming a cured film having excellent light shieldability and excellent in co-formability of both a large pattern and a fine pattern. The composition includes: an inorganic pigment; a copolymer containing a monomer having at least one of an amino group and a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic group, a monomer having at least one group of a carboxyl group, a phosphate group and a sulfonate group, and a macromonomer having a weight average molecular weight from 1,000 to 50,000; a polymerization initiator; a polymerizable compound; and an alkali-soluble resin having an unsaturated double bond.

A dispersion composition is provided in which the dispersibility of titanium black is high, the sedimentation of titanium black over time is suppressed, and overall dispersibility and storage stability are high. Further, a polymerizable composition is provided in which favorable coating property on a substrate and even film thickness can be obtained, generation of residue in an unexposed region when a pattern is formed can be suppressed, and favorable pattern shape having any steps after exposure/development can be obtained. A curable composition including (A) a compound which has a plurality of ethylenically unsaturated double bonds and secondary hydroxyl groups, (B) a photopolymerization initiator, and (C) a coloring agent, is used to provide a curable composition which exhibits excellent storage stability such as dispersion stability even in the case where a coloring agent is included at high concentration, highly sensitive curability by exposure, high adhesiveness to the surface of a hardening material in a curing region when applied in forming patterns on the surface of the hardening material, excellent uncured region removability, and excellent pattern formability; a color filter having colored patterns, which is formed by using the curable composition and has excellent resolution and adhesiveness to the support; and a manufacturing method of the coloring filter with high productivity.
