    摘要: An ultrasonic sensor includes an inner case mainly made of plastic and having a shape of a cylinder with a bottom portion. A conductive film is attached to the bottom portion. An electrode formed at a surface of the piezoelectric vibrator is attached to the conductive film to be electrically connected with the conductive film. Therefore, by connecting leads with the conductive film and another electrode at the other side of the piezoelectric vibrator, the electric conduction between an external circuit and both electrodes at both surfaces of the piezoelectric vibrator is ensured.

    摘要: A pair of distance measurement sensors provided at different heights measures distances to an obstruction. When the measured distances are shorter than a threshold distance, the height of the vehicle is found based on the measured distances. When the height of the vehicle is found greater than a threshold height, the existence of the obstruction is reported to the driver. When the height of the vehicle is found smaller than the threshold height, on the other hand, a change in obstruction height is found and compared with a threshold. When the change in obstruction height is greater than the threshold, the existence of the obstruction is reported to the driver since the height is determined to be an unreliable result of computation.

    摘要: A multiplex communication system having a data repeater, which can prevent data from being lost so as to improve reliability of data communication, when a data repeater of a multiplex communication system repeats data. A multiplex communication system is made up of a plurality of communication groups including a plurality of communication lines and a data repeater. The data repeater is made up of receiving buffers, sending buffers, a data controller and a transfer-address table. The data controller selects multiplex communication lines through which the received data is to be repeated and transfers the received data thereto. The data controller has a priority-reset means for increasing a priority of a received data before being sent. The priority-reset means prioritizes a sending of the data from the data repeater, even if the data sent from the data repeater collides with the other data on the multiplex communication lines through which the received data is to be repeated. In this way, the priority-reset means prevents the data waiting for being sent in the data repeater from being lost by being overwritten with newly received data.

    摘要: A device for joining a leading end of a new second strip-like material to a trailing end of a supplied first strip-like material is disclosed. This device includes a joining preparation path. A stamper base is arranged midway along the joining preparation path. The first and second strip-like materials are fed to the joining preparation path by first and second feed mechanisms, respectively. The first strip-like material passes through the stamper base, and is supplied to the next process by a convey mechanism. The leading end of the second strip-like material is aligned with a predetermined position of the stamper base, and is held in position. The device includes a stamper for holding a joining tape piece by suction. When the trailing end of the first strip-like material reaches the predetermined position of the stamper base, the stamper is driven toward the stamper base, and the trailing end of the first strip-like material is joined to the leading end of the second strip-like material by the joining tape piece.

    摘要: An air flowrate measuring apparatus with a heat wire measures the flow rate of the air flowing through the intake pipe of an engine. The apparatus has a temperature sensitive element which has a specific temperature-resistance characteristic and is disposed in the intake pipe. Constant heating voltage is applied to this element in response to a start signal, thus heating the element. When the temperature of the element rises to a specified value, the application of the voltage is stopped. At the same time, a pulse signal whose width corresponds to the period of applying the voltage is generated. The signal is supplied to an interface circuit through a drive circuit driven by a reference voltage which has been also used to control the heating voltage. The interface circuit comprises two wave-shaping circuits. The first wave-shaping circuit has a filter means of a small integration time constant. The second wave-shaping circuit has a filter means whose integration time constant is large enough to remove noise from the input signal.
