Abstract: A scroll compressor is provided that may include a casing, an orbiting scroll and a non-orbiting scroll that suctions in a refrigerant from a suction space of the casing, compresses the suctioned refrigerant in a plurality of compression chambers, and discharges the compressed refrigerant into a discharge space of the casing, and a capacity varying device having a first valve and at least one second valve coupled with each other inside of the casing to selectively bypass a portion of the refrigerant in the plurality of compression chambers. With this structure, it is possible to prevent, in advance, refrigerant from being leaked outside of the scroll compressor, reduce pressure loss as a bypass flow path is shortened, reduce a size, weight, and manufacturing costs of the scroll compressor, and vary a capacity of the scroll compressor with a small operating force, and small power consumption.

Abstract: A scroll compressor is provided that may include a casing having a sealed inner space; a drive motor provided in the inner space of the casing to generate a rotational force; a rotational shaft rotatably coupled to the drive motor; an orbiting scroll formed of an aluminum material, and coupled to the rotational shaft to perform an orbiting movement; a fixed scroll coupled to the orbiting scroll to form a compression space; and an Oldham ring coupled to the orbiting scroll, and formed of a sintered metal. With this structure, it may be possible to prevent the Oldham ring from being worn out due to contact with the orbiting scroll. Further, a weight loss portion or wear-resistant coating layer may be formed on a portion of the Oldham ring, thereby suppressing or preventing vibration noise of the scroll compressor from being increased due to a weight increase of the Oldham ring.

Abstract: A compressor is provided that may include a cylinder including an outer cylinder portion, an inner cylinder portion, and a vane portion connected between the outer cylinder portion and the inner cylinder portion, which is fixed to a casing. A rolling piston may be slidably coupled to the vane portion to form an outer compression space and an inner compression space while making a turning movement between the outer cylinder portion and the inner cylinder portion. Through this, a weight of a rotating body may be reduced to obtain a low power loss with respect to the same cooling power and a small bearing area, thereby reducing refrigerant leakage as well as easily changing a capacity of a cylinder in an expanded manner. In addition, refrigerant may be discharged in opposite directions to each other in each compression space, thereby reducing vibration noise of the compressor.

Abstract: A compressor is provided that may include a passage separator provided between an electric motor drive and a compression device to separate a refrigerant passage from an oil passage. The passage separator may include a first partition wall and a second partition wall. The first partition wall may be disposed between an inner circumferential surface of a casing and a discharge hole of the compression device, and the second partition wall may be disposed between the discharge hole and a balance weight. Accordingly, the refrigerant passage may be separated from the oil passage between the compression device and electric motor drive, thereby efficiently recovering oil to an oil storage space.
