    摘要: An electrically driven vehicle brake comprises a brake piston, which acts on at least one friction lining and can be displaced out of an initial position into an actuation position, in which the brake piston abuts the friction lining against a rotating member of the vehicle brake which is to be connected, fixed against rotation, to a wheel of the motor vehicle, and a transmission unit, driven by an electric motor and acting on the brake piston to actuate the brake piston, wherein the electric motor is to be triggered by an electronic control unit, which is also set up to detect performance parameters of the vehicle, the electric motor and/or the vehicle brake. The electronic control unit is set up and programmed to trigger the electric motor by means of a control and evaluation program running in it in such a way that the brake piston is displaced in response to the detecting of at least one predetermined operating condition in a first direction into its actuation position, in which the at least one friction lining abuts against the rotating member, and the brake piston is then displaced by a path corresponding to a predetermined, desired brake release play in a second direction opposite the first direction, into its initial position. If the vehicle brake additionally comprises a device for fixing the initial position of the brake piston, which fixes the initial position of the brake piston in such a way that a predetermined, desired brake release play is kept constant during the operating life of the brake, the electronic control unit is set up and programmed to trigger the electric motor by means of a control and evaluation program running in it in such a way that an element of the transmission unit acting on the brake piston on electrical actuation of the brake is displaced in response to the detecting of at least one predetermined operating condition in a first direction into its actuation position, in which the brake piston actuated by the element abuts the at least one friction lining against the rotating member. The element is then displaced by a path corresponding to a sum made up of the predetermined, desired brake release play and a predetermined, desired distance between the element and the brake piston when the brake is not actuated in a second direction opposite the first direction into its initial position.

    摘要: A device for compressing tires and other compressible items in a shipping container comprises a support frame 22 attached to the lift end of a forklift. A fixture 20 is attached to and moves vertically with the support frame. The fixture comprises a horizontal compression platen 30. A vertical pusher plate 50 extends above and below the platen. The upper pusher plate 53, which is above the platen, can fold down so that the platen can be brought near the ceiling of a shipping container above a stack of tires. The fixture weighs enough to compress tires stacked below the compression platen. Additional tires are stacked above the platen and compressed tires. The upper pusher plate is then folded up, against the tires. Two hydraulic cylinders push the pusher plate away from the support frame to pull the platen from between the tires.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing a vulcanizable composite material which can be dynamically stressed. The material is made of an elastomeric matrix having a reinforcement layer made of a textile fabric embedded therein. The fabric is prepared with an aqueous dispersion of synthetic resin and latex before being embedded in the elastomeric matrix and then dried. An adhesive interface coating is applied to the dried fabric with the coating being vulcanizable polar rubber present in an organic solution. The dried fabric provided with the adhesive interface coating is rubberized with a thin coating of rubber stock and embedded in the elastomeric matrix. An organic solution of toluene which contains chlorosulfonated polyethylene (CSM) as a vulcanizable polar rubber is used to apply the adhesive interface coating in order to produce a composite material which provides a good adhesion between the reinforcement layer and the elastomeric matrix even in the presence of high alternating flexural stresses.
