摘要: An automated process for inspecting and controlling the quality of titanium welds using color recognition. A color sensor and white light source are mounted to a fixture. The fixture is used to traverse the weld or the part being welded is moved in the viewing path of the sensor. The sensor is calibrated to indicate the desired or undesired color of a weld. A recording device such as a computer is used to receive signals from the sensor and record the location of weld colors that indicate an unacceptable weld. Weld parameters are controlled by color feedback to minimize the deposition of unacceptable weld.

摘要: The present invention provides a package for a phase stable, liquid nonaqueous detergent, comprising:a plastic, relatively thin-walled container, said container having an end wall and a circumscribing side wall which narrows to a finish, and a liquid detergent contained in said container, said detergent comprising:(a) 20-90% of a liquid portion which comprises an alkoxylated nonionic surfactant;(b) 5-50% of a solids portion which comprises:(i) a builder;(ii) 0-20% of the detergent of an oxidant; said solids being stably suspended in said liquid portion, by means of(c) a phase stabilizing amount of a lower alkylated fused ring polyarylene sulfonate; and(d) 0-5% of a hydrolytic enzyme;whereby the phase stability of said liquid detergent in storage in said container is controlled, by the selection of either:(1) said container being constructed of a homopolymeric resin, said container having a minimum average cross-sectional dimension r/2 of at least about 6.8 millimeters in order to minimize interaction with said plastic;(2) said container being constructed of a heteroatom-containing polymer; or(3) a combination thereof.

摘要: Novel peroxydicarbonates are provided in which the alkyl carbonate moiety is 2-alkyl-2-phenyl substituted. The compounds are useful as polymerization initiators of ethylenically unsaturated monomers, such as vinyl chloride, and as catalysts of unsaturated polyester resins. The subject peroxydicarbonates are characterized in that they are solid at room temperature, have ambient temperature stability in spite of a low 10 hour half-life temperature, and can normally be transported and stored without refrigeration.

摘要: Implantable pulse generators and spinal cord stimulation (SCS) systems are provided. The implantable pulse generator comprises telemetry circuitry configured for wirelessly receiving programming signals from an external programmer, and a plurality of bi-directional current sources configured for being respectively coupled to a plurality of electrodes. The implantable pulse generator further comprises control circuitry configured for directing the bi-directional current sources to output current pulses of a selected amplitude and polarity to the electrodes in accordance with the programming signals. The SCS system may comprise a plurality of electrodes, an external programmer configured for transmitting programming signals, and the afore-described implantable pulse generator as described above. In one embodiment, the SCS system further comprises one or more stimulation leads carrying the electrodes, in which case, the implantable pulse generator may further include a connector removably mated to the stimulation lead(s).
